All barbers don't work the same hours, pay the same chair rent, or have the same clientele.
In Maryland, you have to do like 2 months of Cos to go to barber school...and you can still make bread in barber school cutting extra heads not to mention house calls that are 100% profit.
An edger, clippers, shears, and an apron don't cost much...You sound like a hater, my nikka.

i guess its all about that steady stream of clientele. my barber usually cutting 2 head w/in an hour. getting btwn 20-30 bucks a head.

You have no idea how lucrative that industry truly is...You can make a LOT of money, especially if you're good, reliable, and work quickly...

Because doing womens hair takes more time and skill. You sit there and sow or braid hair for 4+ hours and get paid may $200-300. That's like $75 an hour.

You have to know more things as a beautician than a barber. Hair coloring, perms, straightening, etc. that barbers don't do.
