Not true, Jordan had 7 straight triple double's in 1989 running the bulls offense as PG when sam vincent was injured. He could've put up triple double like lebron did but that wasn't his focus.

I don't think that's difficult for Lebron to achieve that at the expense of having a 4-8 record like the Bulls did during Michael's run as the team's PG. Only thing is, I don't think Lebron's teams would go 4-8 with him having that type of production.

Michael used the opportunity to outshine Magic by dishing out 16 assists to Magic’s 12. The Bulls used a balanced attack and had 3 players with 20 or more points (Jordan, Pippen, Hodges) and 5 players scoring in double digits. Magic missed the game tying free throw late in the game and the Bulls won with a final score of 104-103.

As Jordan became more used to his new role, the Bulls became more used to winning. The team would go on to win 11 out of the 14 games after the switch, and was again in contention for the fourth playoff spot and home court advantage in the Eastern conference.“For the most part, I’m starting to like it.” Michael Jordan said “I never dreamed I’d play that position – me, a lifelong (shooting) guard. But it helps. I can call my own plays and get everyone else involved in the offense.”
