Brons offensive game pales in comparison to Jordans, not sure why this topic is constantly revisited. Have we forgotten the 5 straight games where Bron had the ball at the end of the game with time running out and he did the SAME exact move each time? Dribble left into the key for a layup attempt. Dribble left into the lane for a layup attempt. Jordan? C'mon dudes offensive game was unfukkwitable.

"I do think he can be better than Michael," Barkley said. "I thought I would never compare somebody to Michael Jordan. But this guy, LeBron James, he does everything well. Michael did everything well. LeBron James is just bigger, stronger, faster. That's the only difference."

I'm not sure LeBron is faster than Jordan was, anyways, this is the same tired shyt, we won't know until we see LeBron's entire career (or at least until he's no longer in his prime) whether or not he's as good or better than MJ.

It doesn't pale in comparison when you weigh in how much of a better passer and orchestrator of an offense Lebron is compared to MJ.

Ones offensive game isn't strictly tied to scoring.

1. Yea because that matters. Who cares that the best shooting guard after Jordan & Kobe is your teammate. A dude who put up 34ppg in his own Finals. As long as you get the Finals MVPs huh? :dead:

2. You Heat nikkas were perturbed last year when Melo was courting Chris Paul to come to the Knicks, but somehow a Melo-Wade-Bosh Heat team wouldn't do damage? fukk outta here kid.

3. So you do have a Cleveland jersey in your closet? :pachaha:

- lol Dat's right. Completely deflect da point of Bron's numbers not changin and him completely dominantin da playoffs of his championship season. :umad:

- :childplease: Name one Heat nikka dat gave two fukks about CP3 goin to da fukkin Knicks nikka. And Melo would've carried dem cats wit an injured Bosh, Hot/cold Wade to a championship now like Bron did? Really? :comeon:

- fukk Cleveland. :heh:

Lol do you understand skill set kobe offensive skill set far surpasses jordan only thing jordan did better was drive and defensively he played in the hand check era so it was easy for him with those big ass hands. Jordan the best winner hands down but there's been plenty more skilled than him without his competive drive though.

I don't argue vs. Kobe and I damn sure not going argue on behalf of MJ:pacspit:

With that said, just read the bolded, assess, correct your mistakes, then get back to me whenever you can.

I rather an elite center over Lebron or Jordan. Give me Wilt, Russell, Dwight, Hakeem, or Kareem.

LOL @ putting in Dwight and not Shaq.

In fact, the only elite center (in his prime) that I'd take over Jordan/LeBron IS Shaq.

Number one, how can LeBron's offensive game "pale" in comparison? People say that because Jordan is the better scorer (and LeBron never gets mentioned as a "great" scorer) yet LeBron averages damn near 30 every night. You don't average 26-30 points per night and pale in comparison to ANYBODY.

Not to mention LeBron is a much better distributor/orchestrator of offense than Jordan.

MJ is better but.. when MJ left the bulls.. they went 55-27...from 57-25
when bron left cavalier they went 19-63....from 61-21...

do the math. he is DEFINITLY seeing MJ

When Lebron left Cleveland the whole team left or got traded and the coach got fired. It's totally different.

Lebron is an amazing passer, but when did he become a great 'orchestrator of offense'?

Yeah...for their career, Bron and MJ average pretty damn close to identical ast-to-to ratios ...so it's not like Bron is some kind of elite point guard level distributer or offensive orchestrator compared to MJ...he just had the ball in his hands in a distributing role more than Jordan (during his prime years, Pippen was the distributer)...the '88 season proves to me at least Jordan could have very well played Bron-Ball if he so chose, just wasn't his natural inclination to do so...he was a more a killer

The offense don't run through him now?

The Heat offense ain't exactly some orchestra of offensive perfection either though...if you can force them in the half court, it reduces down to Bron Ball and they become very beatable...

Tbh and coming from a Bron-hater, this is true. He's never mentionned as a great scorer despite his numbers, but it may come from the fact that a lot of his points are derived from his strenghth, speed and shooting ability. Not saying those don't count, but we can't really say that Bron has as many creative ways of scoring as MJ or Kobe IMO. It's like IF (a big IF) you manage to stop Bron on his initial move or jump as high as him, you have a good chance of him not scoring that much. whereas MJ and Kobe find insane ways of putting the ball in the basket.

The offense don't run through him now?

Having a lot of assists doenst' mean he "orchestrates" the offense well. How many times have we seen the Cavs or Heat offense come to a full stop? He does have great vision and makes great passes, but I don't know that equates in him "creating" shots for his teammates.

At the end of the day, it may come down to semantics. What is "better"? Does it mean better stats? Than Bron could be "better" than Jordan, because he's stronger and bigger, plays in a watered-down league where defenses aren't really that good, and with a mini Dream Team. If it means more titles, well again that could happen, for some of the same reasons and also because Bron will probably be able to play longer thanks to better medical techniques whatever (players staying in the L til they're damn near 40 now).

But if you ask me who I want on my team, it's still :mjpls:. Bron ain't showed me that heart/psycopath will to win just yet :yeshrug:

I never said that? Hes just never been involved in an offense that requires much 'orchestrating'. Most of his dimes are in transition or just drive & kick. Like I said he's a great passer, but I really don't recall him having to run a complex offense. He's pretty much been allowed to run ISO ball his entire career. His handle can be sloppy at times, and hes been known to force passes. Look at both the Cavs & Heat offenses and you'll notice ALOT of stagnant moments and bad half court possessions. Ive seen too many times where the offense breaks down while he is holding the ball for 20 seconds. He really doesn't work an offense to create shots for his teammates, he makes plays off his incredible physical abilities. Doug Collins ran this same offense with Mike and it resulted in an 8 AST season. The triangle really didn't allow Mike to be a creative passer like he was earlier in his career. Chris Paul is someone I would consider a great 'orchestrator' of offense. It's really whatever. :yeshrug:

Lebron at the elbow is unstoppable at this point and strictly needs to be the offense he runs through.

This is why they focus on defense more than any other team in the league outside of Chicago...

How you gonna "force them into half court" when you're gettin your pocket picked and lookin at the back of their jersey...

As for forcing them to play "Bron Ball" as a winning strategy

That ship done sailed..This ain't 2010...
