Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
How none of his coaches have recognized this I don't know.

I don't think he was truly comfortable there, Mike Brown was so limited in his scope, and his ability to tell Bron what to do. Also, Coach K is really the one who started opening the door for him there, playing him at the 4 in the Olympics and him flashing to the foul line against the zone is what made his game grow IMO.

Its weird to hear stuff like this when Bron's MVP year was basically MJ's rookie numbers. Former players know potential better than anybody and they see the potential in Bron...this year was a start..he gotta keep it going. Til then, he has a long way to even garner a Barkley/Pippen type reaction outta me.

This is why they focus on defense more than any other team in the league outside of Chicago...

You try too hard.

Lebron is a better player than Pip or Barkley.

You guys are too caught up in scoring.

You really think if Lebron wanted to he couldn't score the way MJ did..

:childplease:

Really?

So Lebron has the ability to avg 30ppg but not 32ppg?

This is why I've always held the opinion - if bron had a coach that maximised his abilities, things in Cleveland and the league would've turned out oh so differently.

lebron is a great player but let's be real.....he wouldn't have half those highlights driving the lane and dunking all crazy if he was in the 90's ....there are no centers or goons in today's league..

he woulda' caught an elbow to the chest and dropped by damn near every center back in the day including goons like oakley, rodman, mahorn, etc. he would be taking way more jumpers....plus his current weak post game wouldnt fly

How you gonna "force them into half court" when you're gettin your pocket picked and lookin at the back of their jersey...

Understood...and I agree, their defense and explosiveness in the open court is what makes the heat great....the point was this "orchestrating the offense" stuff like he has some kind of Magic/Chris Paul elite level point guard skill set that seperates him from Jordan offensively is mostly just a talking point that sounds good but doesn't really bear itself out in reality

As for forcing them to play "Bron Ball" as a winning strategy

LeBron James 45 points, 15 Rebounds - Heat vs Celtics Game 6 Highlights (6.7.12) - YouTube

That ship done sailed..This ain't 2010...

:obama:

Well yeah, if we're operating under the assumption Lebron comes out and drops 45 and 15 every night...then yeah, he's already The Goat, the Heat win the next 7 or 8 championships and we should just marvel in his greatness right now....that wasn't really my point though..when I say Bron Ball, I'm talking about Bron essentially playing the role of a ball dominant point guard "orchestrating the offense", and either scoring every point or trying to make every assist....that's not really what happened in that Boston game...but is what's happened in several of the series Bron's teams have lost in the past, and still the best strategy on how to beat them

Cut it out..

Jordan was drivin to the hole with reckless abandon yammin on nikkas..

Lebron is bigger and stronger so how do you figure this?

So you sayin that if Bron had Phil Jackson as his coach his first 7 seasons things would have turned out differently?

:ohhh:

What if he had a prime Shaq instead of Ilgauskas?

:ohhh:

highlight for highlight Lebron got way more dunks.... jordans most famous highlights are acrobatic layups and fadeaways.......that's how i figure...mj got hops and dunked on everyone but he wasnt dunking all crazy and the goons didnt really check his G jordan was about that life...lebron woldnt bust a grape in a fruit fight...has he every thrown his hands?....

lebron cant drive the lane forever he better evolve that post game ....the greatest players learn to adapt there game to their fading skillsets.
