I respect his opinion but I dont agree, or maybe I dont understand.

Magic and Larry both have more rings, and just as accomplished careers as most players on his listlist.
But then he uses the ring argument for Kobbe vs Bron. If he would've said 'Bron is only halfway through his career, I wont put him in my top 5-10 until hes retired, or close to retiring', it would make more sense.

But how does he explain West and Baylor being higher than Magic, Bird, Shaq, and even Hakeem?

LMAO. Jordan never let a finals go to Game 7 and he played teams a lot better than the Spurs team that was a free throw away from beating the Heat.

Jordan was on the best team and dominated as expected. I repeat.... DOMINATED.

LeBron is on the best team and he finds himself in more elimination games than I can even count. For a guy so amazing and for a team so super... the guy is always on the ropes.
I wasn't quoting you to support LeBron, but you stated "if Ray Allen....." I'm saying you can put ifs to anything. "If Jordan hadn't had his father killed to pay off gambling debts, he might have had 9 rings." You can apply ifs to any and every situation.

I love how Chuck ain't got no respect for Magic or Bird. He prolly think he was better than them. And I don't blame him. Outside of titles, he was in their league. Also I'd have Hakeem in my top 10.

Since I respect rings, my list goes:

1. MJ
2. Kareem
3. Russell
4. Magic
5. Kobe
6. Shaq
7. Duncan
8. Wilt
9. Bird
10. Hakeem

Bron with another title leap frogs Hakeem on my list.

At least you keep it consistent. :laff:

Fact is Jordan never put his legacy in the hands of another player. From 91 onwards, and not including the half year he played in 95... Jordan got the job done. There are no "what ifs". When you go 6/6 in the finals and snatch up 6 finals MVP's, obviously it had less to do with luck. There was never a time when it looked like Jordan wasn't in control.

Meanwhile LeBron is constantly on the ropes. Constantly finding himself in elimination games against MUCH inferior opponents. This past year LeBron's legacy was in the hands of Ray Allen. LeBron was actually on the sidelines lookin upset... cause he knew his hands were tied.

Jordan's hands were never tied. You COULDN'T take the game from Jordan.

didn't you just prove his point?

Which was that LeBron finds himself in MORE elimination games then he could remember....LeBron has been in 12 and Kobe has been in 19...
Not sure what you are trying to say...please explain..

I am talking about his 5 is better than 2 remark. What you pointed out actually makes him look even sillier. Five is greater than Wilt's 2 and Oscar's 1 too right? Only thing worse than the rings argument is being inconsistent and blatantly contradicting yourself while making it. :heh:

This must be his favorite player list

Right... and what IF the Lakers never snatch up Gasol. I get all that.

But for everyone that watched Kobe's career from start to finish, you know what you saw. You saw what this guy accomplished. LeBron is obviously more talented and more dominant than Kobe was but he's yet to prove he's a better WINNER than Kobe is. We haven't yet SEEN from LeBron what we saw from Kobe.

When the Heat won the championship this past year, did your opinion of LeBron James really change? Did he show you something you hadn't seen from him before? Did he really conquer that mountain?

Do me a favor and rewatch Game 6 against the Spurs, when the Heat were down by 5 and it looked like it was over. Look at LeBron's face on the sidelines. What was your perception of LeBron at THAT moment.

Because that says it all.

What mountain are you referring to? He won the title and finals MVP..that was the MOUNTAIN of the 2013 season period... and in game 7 did something he struggled with that whole series( hitting jump shots) and had 37 and 12 and the game clinching jump shoot and steal...

As far as game 6 I saw him score 16 in the fourth and when the HEAT were down 5 and it looked like it was over I saw him come out and HIT a 3....

What I'm I missing..seems as if you are trying to write a conclusion to a guy who is just in HIS prime..

:laff: at number of elimination games played in being relevant to anything? Is this what it has come too? The nikka got rings so now we wanna harp on elimination games.
:aicmon: We talking about elimination games...elimination games. Not a ring...not a ring but elimination games. :dead:

Ya'll nikkas are getting me through a long day. :myman:

Right... after two costly turnovers.

I'll say it again, when the Heat were down by 5 with 30 seconds left and San Antonio had the ball... did you or did you NOT give the game to the Spurs? When LeBron was lookin all sulky on the sidelines. What was goin through your head at THAT moment.

didn't he say a little while back that Lebron could end up being better than Michael? Or say some shyt about him being a bigger, stronger version of MJ? I'm confused.

Maybe the teams Jordan faced in the 90s weren't that good?
