I feel you but come on don't front, shyt looked bleak. If you were a Spurs fan (or a LeBron hater) you were doin cartwheels. Wilbon and Magic even said they were preppin the celebration in the back and ready to wheel out all the trophies and shyt like that.

For all intents and purposes... the shyt looked like it was over. And if you look at LeBron's face, it looked like he thought it was over too.

all of this is true no debating that...and he probably thought " we are in deep s**t" which was the truth because they were... but I guess I'm confused as to why him thinking that( or us thinking that) has any relevance on them actually winning it? because he did come out after the timeout and hit a 3 and shot the other one which missed, so it wasn't like he RAN away from the moment..

I'm sorry man let's not even watch the games, Let's just IGNORE what we see with our own eyes and what unfolds throughout the course of the game and just look at stats.

Yea... that's what separates them. Cause you could WATCH Jordan and you could WATCH Lebron and know which one was better.

and what do you see when you watch them?

Two completely different players that are/were effective on their teams for completely different reasons. Only thing you can say makes one better than the other is that Jordan's capped his career and its going on 15 years now.

Lebron still has the chance to create a different narrative.

It does have relevance. At least it does to me. Because he we are talkin about the all time greats and where LeBron's name falls in the ranks of history... so of course I'm gonna be a little hesitant to put LeBron over guys who proved themselves over and over throughout several years and won multiple championships. Duncan might have a few more rings to his name too if he played on a superteam or if he didn't have to go through the Shaq/Kobe Lakers.

But that's what I'm sayin. Duncan went through one of the most dominant teams of all time to win a championship. Now based on what you've seen from LeBron and his Heat team these past few years, do you think he could have done that? I don't think so. I see a guy struggling against teams like the Pacers and almost losing to a team led by Tony Parker and Senior Citizen Tim Duncan. If he had to go up against what Duncan went against in '03, I think the Heat get spanked. What's their answer for Shaq?

When LeBron won the championship last year it was like a sigh of relief. Like he got bailed out of a jam. And yes I acknowledge that winning is winning, but he is the best player in the game by a wide margin playing on the best team in the game by a wide margin. He should be the one calling the shots. He should be the one everyone is scared of. He should be the one dominating. Instead the Bulls without Rose take him to 6 games. Instead the Pacers led by Paul George and Roy Hibbert take him to 7 games. Instead he just barely squeaks by the Spurs to win the championship. Teams that are clearly inferior and should pose no real problem.

LeBron may be more talented than Kobe but ask yourself this question. Do you think the 2013 Spurs beat the 2010 Lakers? Or do the Lakers put them away in 6 convincingly.

Lebron didn't dominate the last 2 playoffs?

:ohhh::stopitslime::shaq:
The Heat won in 5 games. They also beat the Bulls in 5 games two years ago w/DRose.

I seem to remember a decidedly average Pacers team and an even worse Knicks team taking the Bulls to 7. A Rockets team without Ming or T-Mac took the Lakers to 7 games.

You can only play the teams you play. That's what you should judge teams/players on, not these dumb hypotheticals.

Its even weirder when you conveniently ignore 2012 when the Heat beat a Celtics team that went to 2 finals a great Bulls team and a great Thunder team featuring 2 top 10 players in the game.

didn't he say a little while back that Lebron could end up being better than Michael? Or say some shyt about him being a bigger, stronger version of MJ? I'm confused.

:comeon: Its Charles Barkley. Same nikka who said da Zimmerman verdict was da right one and had absolutely no prollem with it. Dood is funny but a low key c00ntastical individual.

nikka breaks da sound barrier on da daily wit how fast he contradicts himself.

Why do we still listen to Charles?

We only co-sign when he has something positive to say about our fav players.

:pachaha:

TBH, I think Chuck's sentiments is how alot of the old timers feel. The only one I really see slurping LeBron that much in the public is Magic. I know behind closed doors, they probably think he took the easy way out.
