Name ONE western squad that MJ ever had to play against who was dominant?

Well, you kind of have to be dominant to be Western Conference Champions. Jordan 6-0 against them. Your boy Lebron 4-6.

so Eastern Conference difficulty is irrelevant.

You can just say you agree with me, it's obvious stuff. Go back to what I posted earlier. It's easier to get to the Finals in the East during Lebron's era.

When MJ retired in '93 and then again in '98, did any of those tough Eastern Conference opponents proceed to win titles?

The Pistons. Also, this was when the Lakers and Spurs started to dominate. They were in the Finals the next 7 years.

What Kobe did to the Spurs in 2001 beats anything Bron ever did in the playoffs besides 2016 but Kyrie hit the big shot :umad:
Kobe's highlight: Two easy blowouts to sweep a roster so bad that career benchwarmer Antonio Daniels was simultaneously trying to guard Kobe AND be his team's #2.

You expose him even more than I do. :russ:

If you lined up Bron's 20 greatest, most clutch playoff games, Kobe would have maybe 5 tops that could even make the list.

If you picked Bron's 10 greatest playoff series, Kobe would struggle to put 1-2 on that list.

If you picked Bron's 5 greatest Finals, Kobe's best wouldn't even make the list.

03 is after a 3 peat and nikkas was burnt out :mjlol: and Kobe was doing good in the elimination game until the whole team ran out of steam in the 4th
So a 22yo Kobe can be burned out from just being a sidekick in 3 title runs, but Bron doesn't get a pass carrying his team on his back for 15 years and 8 straight title runs?

And someone "doing good until he sucked ass in the 4th" is now okay when Kobe does it. :russ:

04 only game we won in the Finals was cuz of Kobe
And all four games you lost were because of Kobe, that's the point of the Pistons strategy. :mjlol:

06 was already explained and were a 7th seed
And that's an excuse for quitting in a Game 7? Wow.

07 we were a 7th seed with Luke Walton and Kwame in the lineup
Still played like ass. Look at who was on Bron's team in '07 and he made the Finals.

08 we werent even supposed to make the playoffs and kobe had em #1 in the West before we even got Pau.
What does regular season wins have to do with Kobe playing like ASS in a Finals elimination game?

11 burnt out after 3 finals appearances and kobe had a fukked up knee
Once again, Bron has to carry his team for a decade but Kobe can't even do it more than 3 years. :mjlol:

We didn't even talk about 2010 when Kobe went 6-24 in Game 7. :lolbron:

Kobe roasted the Western Conference for years, he didnt get to chill the first two rounds every season like Bron :mjlol:
Another lie, Bron was doing MORE in the first two rounds than Kobe did.

His first big Pistons series was in the 2nd round.
3 of his 4 big Celtics series were in the 2nd round.
His first big Pacers series (down 2-1 with Bosh out) was in the 2nd round.
The Nets series where he had to score 49 to win Game 4 and then 14 in the 4th to squeak out Game 5 was in the 2nd round.
The brutal knockdown dragout series against the Bulls in 2015 was in the 2nd round

That's 7 opponents in the 2nd round for Bron that were as tough or tougher than anyone Kobe ever beat in the first 2 rounds as a #1.

Not even talking performances in the 1st round like 2006 (36-8-6 on 51% shooting and 2 game-winners against the Wizards), 2009 (32-11-8 on 51% shooting against the Pistons), 2010 (32-9-8 on 57% shooting against the Bulls), 2014 (30-8-6 on 57% shooting against the Hornets), 2017 (33-10-9 on 53% shooting against the Pacers) and 2018 (34-10-8 on 55% shooting with a game-winner against the Pacers).

Bron had to ball out in the first two rounds over and over again. Claiming Kobe was forced to do more in those rounds while Bron rested is a straight lie.

Whether Kobe played bad or good he came to play unlike Bron
Except when he quit in a Game 7, right? :mjlol:

He should blame all the other teams that aren't trying.

That's the reason talent accumulates with these top teams like this - veteran players trust only a few front offices to really focus on winning now

Where's the criticism for OKC? What the fukk is going on in Minneapolis?

So Cal
:laff:

Kobe: 23-3-3 on 45% shooting (23% from 3pt)
Terry: 20-2-4 on 58% shooting (68% from 3pt)

In the elimination game Kobe had 17-3-1 on 7-18 while giving up 32-1-4 on 11-14 to Terry.

Saying Bron's 40-8-8 on 50% shooting against the Magic was a failure but that Kobe 23-3-3 getting washed wasn't bad.

Yet another guy who only knows narratives. Outside of 2 minutes at the end of Game 4, Kobe was ASS in every one of those games. :mjlol:

Game 1: Shaq had 43 while Kobe had just 14. Lakers were up just 6 going into the 4th, Kobe didn't even make a shot in the 4th while Shaq dominated and Fox added 9 to pull away for the win.

Game 2: Shaq had 40 while Kobe had just 2 before leaving with an injury in the 2nd quarter. Lakers won anyway behind 21 each from Glen Rice and Harper.

Game 3: Kobe didn't play

Game 4: In regulation Kobe (20 points on 22 shots) was dominated by Reggie Miller (33 points on 17 shots), but Shaq had 36 points including 14 in the 4th to get the Lakers to overtime. Kobe had that great overtime with those 2 big jumpers after Shaq fouled out with 2 minutes left, but Lakers were already up 3 when that happened and never trailed in overtime anyway.

Game 5: Kobe shot 4-20 for just 8 points and Lakers got blown out despite 35 from Shaq.

Game 6: Shaq has 41 on 19-32 to clinch the series, while Kobe had just 26 on 8-27 shooting. Lakers were down 5 going into the 4th, Shaq went 6-6 in the 4th while Kobe was ASS shooting just 1-7. Horry/Fisher/Fox came through with clutch 3s to secure the win.

Kobe was 3-15 COMBINED in the 4th quarters of that series and you wanted to claim he was winning the games. :laff:
:unimpressed: you talking stats and I'm talking what actually happened. Pau is the main reason for them losing that series. Ron Artest recently said that series is the only time he's seen Phil mad. You think he was punching Pau on the sidelines for no reason?

Bu, bu, but narratives :bryan:

I noticed that's the word you run to when shyt that actually happened is brought up.

Big facts :mjlol: Pau was soft as fukk and Kobe/PJ did their absolute best to toughen him up. To Pau's credit he definitely bossed up at times but any little thing could get him back to acting like a beeeeyotch.

he's comparing Terry and Kobe's stats too as if they were being guarded the same :deadmanny: nikkas forget Kobe was getting guarded on the perimeter like Steph before Steph :pachaha:

Charles Barkley is part of the same machine that thrives off hot takes and superficial logic like First Take, Undisputed and WFAN.

All of this crap is just the sports version of Ricky Lake and Jenny Jones. Low brow entertainment that wastes time.

The comedy is cool. But don’t put too much effort in arguing any of it.
