Still, two wrongs breh

So where is the outrage from the Hip Hop community towards sweatshops? I've never seen it. Thats because the Hip Hop community ignores it.....so if the sweatshop issue is the bigger evil and the Hip Hop community ignores it then they should also ignore what Jay is doing.

I remember when Sean Combs was ducking and hiding from the sweatshop controversy aimed at him towards his Sean John clothing. I saw no outrage from the hip hop community. So when I see this so called outrage towards Jay and Barneys..its comes off as fake. Thats all I'm saying.

Your logic is still flawed because two wrongs will still be wrong no matter how you spin it. It's a straw man argument.

Also, you buggin if you think Nike didn't catch he'll over the sweatshop shyt. A lot of these majors did get checked over that shyt. I remember The Source had articles following the whole shyt.

shyt, Jayz caught flack over rocawear possibly using sweatshops. Was the hip hop masses at large boycotting over sweatshops? No, but that doesn't mean that sweatshops are just accepted across the board without concern.

The reason the Barney's shyt is getting so much attention is because it is happening right here, thats how it is with every single social issue, you know this, you ain't stupid.

If my logic is flawed your not prointing out the flaw. If barneys/Jay and Swaetshops are 2 wrongs and there is outrage for one but not the other then it exposes that the outrage towards Barneys/Jay as phoney....You proved that yourself in this quote:

No one in the Hip Hop community cares about sweatshops.....The Hip Hop community is more concerned with the sneaker itself. Rappers make sneaker references all the time....never heard one song dedicated to sweatshops.

No...The reason the barneys sh*t is getting so much attention is because of Jay Z's status , Twitter bullsh*t, pressure groups and bad timing. Had that situation with the kid getting arrested not happened the Barneys and Jay Z deal woulda just been another passing moment in entertainment news....That in itself is also what makes the outrage so phoney.

Forget the fact that the issue is in America......The sweatshops Sean John was accused of using was in Honduras....Thats Black people....Thats a Black issue right there....So where was the outrage from teh Hip Hop community towards Sean John using sweatshops exploiting Blacks??...There was none. So if thats the case I will continue to look at the outrage towards Jay and Barneys as phoney outrage.

Your logic is flawed because you are trying to justify one wrong but using a completely separate other wrong. It's an equation were your math does not agree with your answer.

Also, You conveniently left out my reference to The Source covering the Nike sweatshop issue.

Nobody is just accepting of sweatshops, why you think Diddy was tryna dodge it? Obviously people arent just cool with sweatshops. Also, locality is a major factor in how social issues get supported. You think sweatshops in Honduras would get as much attention as sweatshops in Harlem? He'll no. You think the Barney's shyt would get as much attention if it happened in Honduras? He'll no. Locality is a major factor in all social issues. I seriously know you cannot be so stupid to think otherwise.

Lol at a profiling case story getting overshadowed by a Jay-z collaboration, sheep ass nikkas.
Can't even blame media, they only report on what sheep ass nikkas want to read.

Instead of more in-depth analysis of racial profiling, racist corporate structures and on.. We got stories about a fukking entertainers clothing line.

It's as simple as that. People care more about what is happening in their own backyard as opposed to what is happening elsewhere in the world. Americans especially are more prominently known / stereotyped for having this local / national focus.
