Your logic is flawed because you are trying to justify one wrong but using a completely separate other wrong. It's an equation were your math does not agree with your answer.

Also, You conveniently left out my reference to The Source covering the Nike sweatshop issue.

Nobody is just accepting of sweatshops, why you think Diddy was tryna dodge it? Obviously people arent just cool with sweatshops. Also, locality is a major factor in how social issues get supported. You think sweatshops in Honduras would get as much attention as sweatshops in Harlem? He'll no. You think the Barney's shyt would get as much attention if it happened in Honduras? He'll no. Locality is a major factor in all social issues. I seriously know you cannot be so stupid to think otherwise.

U stil haven't pointed out the flaw in what I'm saying. I dismissed your Source reference because u were reaCHING.....lol @ u thinking everyone in the hood read that 1 article u are hanging onto.....I have yet to hear anyone in the barbershop stressing sweatshops....But they will go into when the new Jordons and Lebrons are coming out.......The reality of the urban community more focused on when the new Jordons come out over where they come from sh*ts on your reference to that 1 Source article that u think everyone in the hood has read. Also your "locality" argument has flaws because I remember a big anti apartheid movement in America along with acknowledging genocide in Rwanda and Darfur. People actually protesting in American streets over these issues...When the hell did the hip hop community protest over where their sneakers come from? This fact sh*ts on your argument that issues aboard aren't acknowledged greatly in this country.....

the flaw in your argument is that one evil (Racism) is not cancelled out by another evil (sweatshops). Seriously breh, its not that difficult to understand.

also, locality is still very much an issue in regards to what people take issue with. you seriously cannot be so stupid to continue this line of reasoning. your examples of international protest are also very extreme, Apartheid and Genocide. cmon son. do we commemorate the lives of those lost by US bombs in the middle east in the same way we remember the victims of 9/11? no we dont.

Naa buddy....all of this is phoney outrage because people are getting shot on lines waiting for the new Jordans and Lebrons that were made in sweatshops. The sweatshop business is the bigger evil compared to what Jay is doing.

When it comes to this black people turn into red from Friday,on some why you didn't help us out...:ohhh: that was different:russ:

LOL...Dude...just stop.....U reaching again......Was Barneys racist when they did the deal with the Black Jay Z before the hype? That doesnt even make sense.....Racism huh?? You reaching when u link the actions of a person behind a cash register with the people who actually run Barneys as if they tell the cashiers to suspect every Black person while they are training them after they get hired.. I cant even take u serious when u bring up racism....You're one of those people caught up in the hype of phoney outrage. Sweatshops are the bigger evil as I said before(and u also agreed).....So if Jay Z is wrong and you wanna keep stressing it.....Then you should be going even harder stressing every store in the country that sells Nikes and Reeboks. If we aren't gonna stress the stores that carry Reebok and Nike then leave what Jay Z is doing alone.

I'll let you have the last word homie and we can just agree to disagree..

I get what your saying, but two wrongs don't make a right

This is a terrible argument, you can't base your claims on what you haven't heard at a barbershop. That's #1.

#2. News has always been tailored to local issues within your community. In this case it's natural that people would care more about this issue than where the shoes come from. He isn't stating issues abroad aren't acknowledged greatly ... but they certainly aren't given the same attention as ones here of equal, or even slightly lesser importance.

#3. That event was reported in the NYTimes which definitely has a larger readership than The Source. (http://www.nytimes.com/2003/10/28/n...on-line-is-tagged-with-a-sweatshop-label.html)
