1157"] Why not? As a pro why not study the game? shyt as a fan I go watch highlights of older players.
A lot of players do, including Draymond. He contradicted himself when he admitted he went back and watch Chuck and even incorporated some of the things he did into his own game, before again claiming Barkley didnt influence him lol. Didnt make any sense but we all know why Draymond was talking like that.

Na this generation's even worse because they get support from some older heads in shytting on greats from the 80s/90s - apparently, the absolute worst era for any sport in the history of athletics. They can shyt on jordan cause some old head who was 5 in 1989 says Jordan is a figment of everyone's imagination created by the media and nike. Trust him. He was 4 when jordan was stat padding to get triple doubles. He'll tell ya. He saw it. But he'll also tell you kareem is the greatest. Hands down.

They didn't used to be, when I was in high school Generation Y is what we were called and then it was gen z for those in elementary school at the time, millenials wasn't even a term.
we were called Generation Y which became Millenials.

What was the period for Generation Y? I know Generation X was from 61-79 (or 80)

The 718
Millenials are the most self absorbed generation ever

Not all their fault. If u grew up in the social media era it's hard not to have an inflated sense of self worth
I'm a millenial and I agree.

We have this...unwarranted sense of moral superiority over previous generations. And insane narcissism.

Generations are never that short

IDK, I have always read Gen Y and Millenials used interchangeably.

Gens vary, depending on how they are assigned.
Gen X isn't 10 years in range, late 70s to early 89s.

never heard of millenials describing my age range to relatively recently, they through gen y and gen z together sometimes as millenials

The old generation always on some back in my day shyt, they don't respect young players either.

It's the same thing in hip-hop for example Lil Yachty vs. Joe Budden really you see it in all aspects of life in general how much flack do "milennials" get from the older generation.

:russell:

That's no true at all. The back-in-my day is HOWEVER, there has always been an appreciation for the next gen and vice versa. Moses and Doc took Chuck under their wings, the Lakers tradition, Vlade took every foreigner under his, Ewing with Hoyas, Sam Mitchell to Garnett. There was always a tradition of the elders embracing the younguns...well except for MJ.

Same with hip-hop, I think it stopped when the younger players came in and started receiving everything before it was earned.
