I like subdued trap beats like this. Just an element, not always taking over the track.

We gotta stop putting the trap label on everything. Its not a subdued trap beat, it's just a rap beat that knocks, everything that knocks aint trap, its not very latin either.

This song and "I Like It" are in 2 completely different realms based on that fact that Cardi's "I Like It" actually samples a famous Latin song. And has 2 Latin rappers on it. This Bas and Cole song sounds more island influenced than flat out Latin. Just cause theres a guitar dont make it "Latin". And I wouldnt identify it as "trap" either. Actually when I first heard it it sounds more RnB influenced than anything else. Latin didnt even cross my mind. I instantly thought RnB. If this is Latin than The Pharcyde's "Runnin" is Latin.

Hears the trademark trap drums that I would hear in any random Atlanta trap song, including the trademark hi-hats.

Somebody back me up on this. I know I'm not over exaggerating anything. "Tribe" has a production mixed with a Latin/Caribbean tropical guitar sound and maracas layered by trap drums. Am I right?
