true but its pretty easy to be consistant when u just standing around and shyt. That's not being an a$$hole either i mean the game is played that way u stand around until play starts, in which play only lasts about 15-30 seconds if that. I kind of view football the same way too although its way more physical the fact remains like 70 percent of the dudes on the field after a play are just standing around with their hands on their hips :pachaha:

so why aren't you playing it then? There's a lot of money to be made there breh

you so mad :russ:

I just showed you NFL regular season game ratings have been in decline, and you dismissed it to talk about the Super Bowl ratings. :russ:

Your whole argument about the economy being weak so MLB should have lower revenues is all bullshyt. You dont know what you talking about and you mad that you dismiss a trend in NFL ratings and stadium attendance.

:rudy: mad at what :mindblown:

ur analogy of low ratings is inaccurate
u post a link of NFL low ratings -and after the 1st few words of football hating ; the article basically contradicts itself

... seeing a slight drop in the number of people who are tuning into its games
....Hulu. Any scripted or reality-based television production would kill for the ratings of NFL games, which account for 24 of the 25 most-watched television shows since Labor Day. NFL audiences are also a healthy 18% larger than they were in 2008.

thereafter, i post 2 links on each sport biggest games from the previous season SB, WS
1 had the highest rated ever the other was 1of the lowest rated ever

and u have the audcity to say "im mad" :smh:

now ur just :troll:in'

I didnt say NFL ratings were low, I said they were in decline, as well as attendance. You out there racing trying to find away to explain away your earlier dumbass post.

they dont got the money to play football :mjpls:

they don't have money for baseball in the hood either... its an economics thing... how many pee wee leagues are around... how many basketball leagues are around... now how many baseball?? the field alone creates the biggest problems. most elementary and middle schools don't have them.... in the inner city, good luck finding a damn baseball field... and if you do have one, do all the other schools have them???

then like others say, they don't make black stars. not like football and basketball.. there have been black mega stars in both since the 60s. even college you become big playing these. they put you on magazines and espn and all that in high school. when's the last time you seen that for a baseball player? strasburg and the other kid on the nats... and what are they? white

quick... who's the biggest black baseball player right now?? name 10........ i can't and i watch sportscenter everyday.. so imagine a kid who doesn't do that much.. but you can catch lebron and rg3 on subway commercials and visa commercials and everything else

if you don't see a lot of your own kind succeeding in it, you're probably not gonna be likely to try to join up

That's the problem. Either you're not paying attention or you refuse to look. Even with the number of black baseball players not even being that high, the few that are there are the ones winning MVP's, Cy Young's, going to all-star games, and singing crazy rich contracts.

that was my point.. you don't have to do that with basketball and football.. if i never watched sports, by now i'd still know lebron, kobe, and 50 other bball players...

even with wearing helmets... if i never watched sports i'd still know rg3, ray lewis, and a rack of others

now i don't watch baseball but i watch sports heavy... not including the 5 sports apps on my phone.. i also check espn and si daily.. plus watch hours of sports shows..... and i still couldn't name 5 black ball players

so i'm saying, what you think a little kid is seeing.. probably nada.. so why would he be enticed to follow that shyt

another thing is lets say he loved baseball.. he can't tell his mom to go buy a 10 dollar ball and hit the court. he's gonna need equipment and 10-15 other kids with equipment. you can't "shoot around" in baseball by yourself. you can't run "3 on 3 with an all-time qb" like you can in football.

all together its harder for a young black kid to get into and play baseball before high school and most of the times, before college
