Norfeast groovin…
It's sad, the one great move that could've been written into cokehead's legacy was vetoed from him. If Kobe wasn't on the team he woulda had a better chance, no way the league or media would want Kobe to have a chance to tie or pass Jordan in rings. Who cares at this point though? CP3 is still ringless, Kobe is still a living legend, and dwight ain't shyt in general.

Stern and Silver have 2 completely different MOs. this shot would not slide with stern. He wanted competitor balance. Silver is on record basically saying that's not a goal of his and it won't happen

The same teams won every year under Stern. He's the one that said the best finals matchup is Lakers vs Lakers.

If he really was about it he wouldn't have vetoed the trade. His actions speak louder than his words. Silvers actions and words say the same thing. Super teams.

Why are we acting like the league didn't own the Hornets and that the other 28 teams were picking up the tab for their payroll
Why are we acting like that matters after stern coming out and saying he would not interfere with moves they make?

same nikkaz that cosigned the veto are now crying about Durant to GS:mjlol:

Same nikkas that were right there with Gilbert after the Decision were/are the same nikkas crying about the veto which was heavily influenced by him and his crying. Ironically enough, he's paying out the ass now, setting luxury tax records due to changes that he spearheaded.

That said, I don't know why folks have been clinging to that shyt for 5 years like CP3 was gonna be the difference between the shyt show we've seen and winning chips. If anything, it just would've just put them on the treadmill.

Asking me for a link about something that was said 5 years ago :mjlol:

Paul saga leaves stain on NBA

"Then the league, which had once promised not to interfere, sent Demps to the showers and had its own executives consummate the deal with the Clippers."

I remember the league explicitly stating they would not get involved with basketball moves after they took over the then hornets :francis:
