Let's all relax on the Barman Returns negativity

batman is barely in the movie the first half just bruce wayne watching TV

when he finally shows up he grabs dynamite from a thug then throws it at another thug and blows him up, killing him

then he tells catwoman "eat floor, high in fiber" before hitting her

and he throws acid at her....All he and Alfred do is watch TV lol..man, listen to Kevin Smith's commentary on Batman Returns because he says some of the same shyt you're saying now and its hilarious. The movie is really about Catwoman and Penguin, Burton seems so uninterested in Batman

The fukkery was SOOOOOOO Epic in this film I can't even think of one that tops it. I mean I KNOW there are films that top it but for the life of me I can't even begin to think of such a horrifically awful film that somehow manages to encapsulate the "so bad it's good" philosophy. I mean nipples on the Batsuit....NIPPLES BREHS!!! Barbara Gordon showing up out of fukking nowhere and fighting crime like she's been doing this shyt as long as batman. George Clooney completely throwing his career in the toilet with the awkward acting and stilted delivery. Arnold having the time of his life hamming it up with the corny one liners. Uma Thurman's ugly, pasty pale Cacness making Bruce and dikk fight over her. Bane being the Gotham version of Frankenstein. FREEZING THE ENTIRE CITY AND NOBODY DIES.....

Watched it the other day cause I had a theory it holds together better as a movie than Batman forever. And it does. Doesn’t mean I like it but because it’s one tone throughout and it firmly commits to that tone and isn’t hacked to shyt, it just feels more like a coherent thing
