Bay Area Breh's!!!! I need some help/advice

great mall is garbage. what good stores are there at greatmall? saks and last call by NM? aka the trash nobody wants

only store i'd bother going to great mall for is nike outlet and that's it. everything else you can find closer to where you live without driving all the way to milpitas. crowded and overrated.

Guess, h&m, hollister, calvin klein, j. crew, levi's are trash? It's true that you can find regular non outlet, more expensive versions of the stores great mall has closer to where you live but no other mall in the bay area comes anywhere close to great mall when it comes to selection.

Southland has every kind of store the average guy could ask for. You complaining about their Macy's is a store problem, every big mall in the country has a Macy's so your point is senseless. It's not 1 empty store in Southland. Bayfair is what you're describing Southland as, Southland ain't. There are no empty stores that went out of business in Southland. The mall ain't dirty and unkept. It's plenty of shoe and sports stores for men. It's plenty of women stores for the ladies. a mall that has a Sears,Ross,Macy's,JC Penny can't be that bad because all of those company's wouldn't be able to stay in business in a ghetto mall without being robbed till they went outta business. I remember the days of Eastmont and if you think Southland is ghetto then hop in my time machine and let me show you the real ghetto mall.

Seems like there's an annual shooting here, don't go here if you value your life and safety.
Everything here is either a knock off, poor quality, or perhaps even stolen.
You probably don't want to park a car in the parking lot unless you want everything in it and perhaps the car itself missing.

What kind of Mall can you find 2 Hayward Police squad cars hanging out here almost on a daily basis!? This place is now Absolutely GHETTO! If you wanna be shot at, your car being broken in to, you being jacked or jumped...this is place you go! there was a shooting here not too long ago


and they go on and on like this for about 4 pages.

All my fellow bay breh in here...I didn't know we rolled this deep at the Coli. Puts a tear in my eye. Everyone seems to be on point with everything. I wasted a shytload of my 20s partying all around the bay and can point u to a specific bar/lounge/club based on what kinda female ur feeling. San Jo is coo breh. I stay downtown next to my school San Jose St. Lots of diversity here n the south bay and lots of Latinas if ur feeling that. I don't know too much about Berkeley, but if u want some quality Mexican food hit up the Fruitvale area of Oakland. Best Mexican food in Nor Cal. Ill had something that's missing. If u wanna c black girls at a club stay in Oakland. If u want white girls hit up walnut creeks nightlife. If u want latinas...come to San Jose. If u want Asians....go to SF. Breh SF is a place where u can spend a full day at during midweek and just wonder downtown and the piers. Hella females out and about and them jawns in there business attire downtown will make u weak in ur knees

Since we are on the subject of classy malls. Valley Fair is the best and it ain't close...I don't see how anyone could logically argue it. I think we are venturing outside of brehs radius since he ain't got a whip. San Jo ain't accessible from the east bay with no whip...not unless u wanna catch Bart to Fremont and catch a $4 bus to Downtown...that's too much. I don't really fuk with Berkeley like that so I don't know too much about it. Like someone said...don't hit up and clubs by urself...it could be nyggas out there stalking for prey after. I'm sure u can find a hipster Asian girl on CAL's campus that will show u all the coo spots in the area. Yelp is ur friend breh.

I'm not talking chicken and waffle in jack London either although that's a great spot to hit around midnight or 1am, the females in there from the clubs be on point. Like I was saying, I'm looking for soul food. Last place I went, forgot the name...was in west Oakland by the former cypress freeway...it wasn't too bad.

Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton has the finest women period. Never gone there on the weekend and not see a dime. You'll find a wife at that mall trust me.

San Jose bar and grill, loft 11, tries gringos and Freddy j's are the bar hoping sets. But nothing compares to Happy Hour Downtown. Shyt is piff. U can hit up Azukar lounge ( great salsa lounge) and get chimichongas for $3 while beers and mojitos are $2. There r hella spots like that since there are below bars/lounges. But once again...out of his radius.

Also breh, be sure to hit up A's games in the Spring...cheapest seats, a good amount of females and an empty stadium lol. If u wanna pay cheese but see a quality baseball game...the Giants always sell out and Saturday day games are coo cause there's bars next to the park. Also, if ur here by basketball season...watch my Warriors breh...the best place to find females...and I mean bad ones too. The arena is loud and college like. If u go when they play the Lakers... the shyt will be the wildest

1. Don't go out in SF to a club unless you know someone or got a connect. The same with SJ other than that it ain't really worth the fuss. You'd be better off in Berkeley at Pappy's or Kip's.

2. Explore. You gotta find your own spots. There's gems EVERYWHERE here. Find out your own little cuts. If I wanna chill there's a couple of spots on Solano in Albany I hit up. There's a couple places on college in berkeley. The Jupiter on Shattuck is a cool date spot. Just wander cause there's places everywhere.

3. If you're interning with sports folks just get in with a couple of the folks in other sports and you won't have to pay for shyt. Start hitting up those alum dinners. There's always something free going on with some sport and you might land a good contact for the future.

Thanks breh. I know how the Coli can be, some of these dudes on here tryna to see me on the news over there. On some, "a man was fatally shot today" It's cool though I'm hittin' google, bing, yelp, and other websites before I head to these places everybody is suggestion.

southland is dirty and ghetto as hell.. theres been stabbings and shootings in that mothafukka. the stores all lame, the macy's barely has any legit high end items. i'd say everything between oakland and san jose is garbage in terms of shopping.

only places i'd recommend for good selection of stores/items are union square and westfield in downtown SF, valley fair in san jo/sc, broadway plaza in walnut creek, and stanford mall in palo alto. everything else is garbage. newpark, bayfair, southland, hilltop mall etc all cater to low income shoppers. esp HILLTOP mall which i will avoid like the plague. that mall is depressing as hell.

A lot of what you said isn't wrong, but Coast'in sounds like a typical college student, not some high end brand whore.

Any mall or shopping area will have most of the things you need. But it is nice to visit spots like Valley Fair, Stoneridge, and Stonestown Galleria.

I don't know about most of you guys, but when I was in school, fashion had to take a back seat to more important financial matters. Money went to learning about new things and places, not Polo gear.

And I'm laughing at anyone who's scared to go to Southland.
Yes, all those things happened. Not downplaying murder, but those were not random acts of violence. I've been going to that mall since I was a child, never seen anything happen to an innocent person. I will go there by myself and have no fear whatsoever.
