beans has 3 solid albums and a shytload of memorable guest appearances from the ROC to pretty much anything else he appeared on. I hope he's not washed up, but I don't like his new voice either. and once he split up from jay, he started rapping on :trash: beats and making some bad songs.

yeah, i fukk with his 3rd and 1st album the most out of his catalog, oh and of course his public enemy mixtape

i don't like his new voice either but i don't think he can help that after the shootin' :to: and i feel like as far as an mc, he ain't got that hungry no more

once he left jay, a few things happened

1. lost his since of passion and hungry for the game i'm sure after all the bullshyt with jay n dame
2. he got hooked on lean and really once he left the nest (the roc) he didn't really stand a chance in a climate that was changin' from the streets more and more to hipsters
3. caught up in the usual street shyt that he stayed caught up in, plus incarceration and then shootin'
4. time moved on

i'm good with what beans has given us from 98' to like 05', i just pray the brother is in great health and great spirits and all is well with him and his family. he's older now and hopefully a lot wiser, it's time for him to put those priorities 1st :mjcry:

with that said, if he has any hunger or want to still mc, i'd like to see him work with the roots again and get with freeway and work with some of the nikkas freeway be workin' with for beats and shyt. freeway stayed gettin' that jake one nikka to hook him up with some nice beats

Beanie been one of my favorites since 99, but it was over for him after 2003, he never recovered from that year..He's still got talent though, but he hasn't been focused or sober, or free enough to channel it....I liked 'The Solution' too, and he was pretty on point from 07 to 09, but then he derailed again.....He's always been an addict, it's just it's a progressive disease, and it ate him the fukk up as the years went by...He went harder in the street after he got signed and could never find his way back after that.....

it was over after 05 to be exact; because the b coming was nice and right before that he had the public enemy mixtape out

the solution (07', if i remember correctly) had a couple of songs but with his fall out from the roc after that and then drugs and arrest/the streets it was over. the solution didn't even make no noise like talkin' bout

'The B. Coming' is basically all songs from 2002/2003, that album was delayed for 2 years......A few must have been recorded new, but the bulk was old. I heard 'Wanted' in 2003 on a Kay Slay tape. I saw a partial tracklist in XXL that same summer....I basically mean professionally, after that year, it was over, though the 'Public Enemy Tape' came out 2004, so there's that. But, he did his year through 2005 and 2006 and came home in late 2006, and dropped 'The Solution' in 2007, it's a solid album, but after that, could never come close to the kind of momentum and focus he had before.

This nikka is the most waste of talent in the history of hip hop...(followed closely by Suge but he could rap and that's why I know put him over Suge). Dude was handed everything and he just couldn't stay out the streets, whenever i think about him i think of that final scene of Marlo in the Wire...give him everuthing he needs but he wants the streets.

Dude have a label, movie distribution, clothimg line, everything he needed to be a succesful business man and he shyted it away.

I always looked at this shyt whenever thinking of the Jay/Dame beef because thw first sight of their issues came when Dame promoted Cam and said he would be president bit Jay thought Beans should have got it.

Brehs I searched for like an hour trying to download the Truth album and could only find an edited version, over a hundred albums in my Google music app and it's the only one that is edited
