Only my fellow Bear fans think a 10-28 QB should be "built around," Fields is not a winner, not a passer.
Dude is trash and the league just told y'all that by trading him for a 6th rd pick.
Be happy we off that and are about to start winning some games.

bro Justin fields is ass and has been ass before he stepped into the NFL..never in my life have I seen such a trash player get this kinda cape thrown on him
There’s QBs like Carr, Cousins offering the bare minimum with zero or little return to the fanbase/city/team.

I never said it wasn’t a good spot.

I said there were better options prior to trade if I’m Fields the best destination for him is:
1)Vikings
*prior to the Cousins move Falcons would’ve been 2nd
2)Broncos
3)Raiders
4)Steelers
the Raiders, who employ the OC Justin had to publicly call out this past season for not playing to his talents?
the Vikings are drafting a QB, did they even offer a pick?

Poles landed him to a great destination for the future of his career. Poles was getting shyt on this past week in national media for not doing "right" by Justin for holding him through week 1 of FA

it looks like based on the Eagles trade discussions yesterday, Poles actually did try to think of the quality of spot he sent to Fields to, so I really dont know why this is a conversation still

He doesn't really have a say. He still has a much better shot at starting for steelers than bears since bears taking Caleb.

And if it doesn't workout... he will be a free agent next year if his option gets declined
Maybe Fields never would have worked out for the 49ers. But its still a major what if @I AM WARHOL :francis:

Shows you how big development and situation matter. Nagy/Getsy was a rough go for the breh.

There’s no way they would’ve traded him to a division rival.

The Bears dropped the ball. Should’ve traded the first pick and got more offensive weapons to surround Fields with. If it didn’t work out with the new offensive pieces then trade Fields. But, at least they would have more assets to bring in a new QB with.

Too risky for Ryan Poles to do that. Fields isn't a good passer. If Poles passed on Stroud and Williams and they both turn out to be great , while Fields flops, Poles would be done.

We all know that. I said if I’m Fields(I’m looking out for my best interest). Obviously trades are usually compromises; at least to me that’s what happened

1 thing happened this offseason that should put the ‘Justin fields had no help’ narrative to bed forever

So Kirk cousins specifically targeted Mooney and Mooney gets a 3/39 deal—-more than Hollywood brown. How a better QB than you want a WE you couldn’t do nothing with ?!? That’s like you breaking with your girl and Michael B Jordan immediately hits her up. It probably means ya dumbass fumbled. :heh:

Yet dudes crying like Fields need the greatest show on turf WR room to be decent. Gotdamnit enough. Third year in the league and his QBR is a shade over Sam Howell. He’s fukking ass

If Fields isn't starting by the end of the season, which is HIGHLY unlikely, then he's getting cut. No way they pickup that fifth year and pay a backup 25M.

It's highly unlikely that he ISN'T starting? So you expect him to start over Russ?

I'm guessing you meant him not starting is HIGHLY likely?

No one shytting on the Steelers as a destination. Someone brought up the Poles what’s best for Fields. That’s my personal best destinations if I’m Fields.

Perfect situation for Fields. Gets to sit 1 year behind a vet, learn the system and culture, then he gets handed the keys next year.

Dream situation. Keeps the pressure off of him and he gets to build for the following season .

Happy for the breh. He deserves it
