"Glaciers of Ice"

Was that a sample? Did RZA have somebody play an accordion??? Was that a keyboard???Blue Raspberry??? tf????

well my friend, i have a gift for you

rza basically chopped and sampled 5 or 6 different songs to create Glaciers of Ice

the main chopped loop is here at 3:12, you can hear rza pitched down the note like this, 1...1....1...2..3 or 1...1...1..2.... - if that makes sense

he also sampled the hi hats, maybe he replayed it or actually chopped it i dont know
2:37

the vocal samples are from two different records too

even more proof that rza was heavy smoking dust :wow:

one of the best beats 50 jump on during his 2nd wave ,
the bass reminds me of james brown for some reason
i think i remember reading disco d having to chop the sample into more than 50 chops or something ridiculously like that and he had to give up all the sample rights cause they couldn't clear it, crazy

i feel like this is a very underated dr dre beat or song even, did he even make this one on his own? i dont know but the chimes tho and bassline :ohlawd:
