Im sorry but a man finding out he has a son in a different state - I dont think its normal for him to arrange a meeting the NEXT day to get to know said son. Breh South Dakota is right next to MN which is nothing like a couple of hours. It's not like TX where you drive 10+ hours and still be in TX. Like I said before, she sought out AP because she needed help plus the fact dude had a bye week already so there is no excuse to why he couldn't see the child.
