What other than idealistic logic makes you think even a visit would reveal this guy? So he goes down there, buy some toys, goes to the water park, makes a play fort back at the apartment, tucks him in for bed, and leaves...so now he knows the BM is dating a known abuser?I guess he could have had a better idea about his child's surroundings, had he actually went down there to visit him but I guess he didnt have time for that
It is a lot that could have been done and he had enough time to do it. The Vikings had a bye week earlier this month from Sep 30-Oct 5. He could have easily gone to meet his son and talk and find out what his needs were. The fact that he didn't shows that he didn't care. Of course I dont expect a 2 year old to be able to articulate his needs, I was referring to the mother. The reason he even found out he was the father was because she needed child support and had to paternity test someone she thought was the father and found out he wasnt the father. So then she had AP tested and he was the father. So she did all of that because she needed help. So if he cared then he would have handled the situation and helped out. Lets be real, when you have millions of dollars, you can provide for a nanny or something so your BM won't leave your kid with every tom dikk and harry
So if he paid child support, it's her who is responsible for hiring a nanny, using it for an apartment, etc. even if he got her a nanny, does that mean she won't date this guy? Just quit already. She coulda had everything paid for and still dated a scumbag. I can't judge AD for not having a relationship with a kid he's known abt for a few months, like I've said, I've seen this in real life and know men handle it differently, but if he paid his support as was requested, then she shoulda been using the money for her kid's betterment.
