This take is retarded and disingenuous.

Most agnostics and atheists were raised in religion. religion provides a shared cultural experience for billions of people.

Its lonely AF to no longer have that shared connection with people anymore, especially in the black community where religion is extremely important,.especially as you get older and are searching for companionship.
This

Especially when most people you meant are gonna be religious. Would-be nice to have at least one person who shares the same perspective

Dating a whole discussion in of itself :francis:

Why all the bad bishes gotta be religious? :sadcam:

I’ve leaned more towards Agnostic as I’ve gotten older but its still not concrete. Still searching for answers…

It does suck when dating though. Especially bw. If they are religious, its kind of OD sometimes at this older age. It’s almost feels like these type of women think they know everything about everything but dismiss questions or continuing to learn (I actually think thats more in line of searching for God, no?).

It’s hard to even discuss it, because most don’t really want to have a logical discussion on it. They kinda just repeat whatever they heard their pastor say. But thats only with my experiences with bw and a few other minorities I dated were like that. Never dated a white religious woman.

Like, I can recite full scriptures thats how much some of it I’ve memorized. It’s just hard to speak on it at a surface level. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, I like learning about different religions as well. I like the convo… even the spiritual convo, as I believe that is more related to science than organized religion tends to be.

Out of all the ranges of non believers and believers (cuz there are even some believers that only go to church like 5 times a year lol 🙋🏽‍♀️ ) and you can't relate to nobody. Sometimes it's like yall want to be losers

Which is cool

I’m just at a point where idk if I believe in organized religion like that anymore. I see positives but still feels off right now.

But I am religious so it’s complicated when dating a little bit with the “all or nothing” types.

Notice I am saying types though.

Yup varying degrees I personally find it to sometimes be a mix of delusional, a red flag and just downright corny.

Just my humble opinion though. People are entitled to believe what they believe and practice it as long as they don’t judge others

Facts

How I always felt. I was never a fan of warring organized religions. You have yours and I’ll have mines but there’s a chance we’re both wrong in the end.

Just have YOUR faith and reasons as to why.

My family religion is all mixed up with Catholics, Christians, Jehovahs Witnesses, etc., and thats literally just the immediate family. It definitely didnt work but wouldn’t say religion was the main factor or anything.

I actually wanted to be a priest at one point as a kid. So I’m into it more than most men I think but havent opened up my bible lately or gone to church…

But I’m not against it. Just about finding the right one I guess
