Being Hood Rich>>Living in the suburbs

I thought you were generally dissing ALL black people that lived in the burbs vs just those that brag about living in the burbs and/or those who look down on people in the "hood". There is a difference. As a black person that lives in what some may consider the suburbs, I was a little offended. Especially when you starting talking about me hating myself. It was a misunderstanding on my part, so I have no static with you at all and I do agree that any black person looking down on the next black person is a wack individual.

thats why i was sayin Detroit and Atlanta was the perfect blend of success(socioeconomically)
and example of black people being humble with their success

it seem like in order for a black person to achieve success or feel successful
they gotta dog the people thats not as fortunate as them
but at the same time claim they care about black people

sometimes i forget this website has a TOTALLY DIFFERENT opinion on black people

thats why i stated "if you equate the hood with crime you already been fooled"

its gone always be bougie nikkas but im sayin most of the black people i talk to or have in my family thats successful( once again socioeconomically)

always tell me keep it humble and dont act brand new.

its people that feel like since they successful they have an opinion on black people

but their opinion is hatred and they find ways to dog they own people

i stated some shyt and i got called ignorant,ghetto, and poor

lol the same people im talkin about had the most to say
and it wasnt even thoughful....thats why i call nikkas lames on here n they not real.

they speak n characters n generalizations...no real life experience in they answers..even if we disagreed i respect actual thoughts

I spent the first 17 years of my life living in Detroit so I do know what it's like to live that hood life. First of all, you can't have anything good because when people see that you have something nice, they will try to rob you or break in your house. I can't remember how many times our house got broken into. The time it hurt the most was when they broke in and stole $2000 my mom had saved up Also, the crime rate is higher. It was normal to hear shots especially at night and it was common for someone to get popped just by walking down the street. I remember there were a few abandoned houses on our block and I can remember at least 4 girls that were raped in those houses. There was one case that especially pissed me off. A 12 year old girl on my street was walking to school and got pulled in an abandoned house just 4 houses down from me. They raped her and put old cigarette butts in her p*ssy before killing her. Of course there were no witnesses or no suspects.

I'm a little older now with kids and a family. Since I can afford it, I live in a much better neighborhood. I still respect where I came from but there is no way I can put my kids through that. At least in better neighborhoods, the police actually arrive within 10 minutes and people actually have a neighborhood watch. Sometimes the cops would take a hour to show up if somebody got murdered back in my old hood. Most blacks in my old hood simply didn't give a fukk. nikkas would be waiting around the corner for you to go to work and then try to run up in your crib. I can now walk around my subdivision at night without fear of being hit by a stray bullet in a drive by. I can also buy a new car and not have to pay $300+ per month in car insurance. I'm not saying that everything is all gravy in the burbs, but it's just a much better environment to raise a family in. Also, my subdivision is about 60% black so I don't think I'm somewhere where I'm not wanted.

i aint never say shyt was gravy but if more successful people stayed instead of leaving shyt could turn around

it seem like the only way to feel good about movin out the blzack area
is at the expense of dissing your own kind

plus detroit turning around it aint like the 80s 90s no more

alotta nikkas get caught up they wasnt aware of their surrounding

lol why is that black peopl bring property value down but white bring property value up lololol

watch how the media make detroit the cool place to live in a couple years
whiet peopl movin in in droves

but black people shytting on a black city proudly

and watch how the suburbs be filled with dumb nikkas

Why do we associate hood with being black. Why do we as black folks have to pigeonhole ourselves into that on narrow ass category?

Well being bias but I like Phillys downtown and have friends that live downtown and love it.

so why is white people dying to move back into inner cities?
examples all over the country

im in detroit live by the river and Canada. prime property all around me
im dyin to see black homeowners come and fix shyt up

they want to gentrify the place. they dont want us aroound there tearing everything up. having it looking like the slums.

white folks want to come in on the cheap(especially places like detroit). build it up real nice. kick us out. and bam they have their own little haven in the inner city. white folks only moved away so they could get away from us and the craziness that we bring to the table being so broke dealing with that cism that they put on us.

they caused the problems, we are the problems, and they ran away from the problems they caused while we are stuck dealing with them among one another. thats the truth of it all.
