I assume that she's not being a friend back because of the way that these women are writing about these guys, and the guys probably don't bounce because these women know that if they continue to lead men on with the promise of a relationship they know that they'll continue to get the "super friend" treatment of extra special attention and little extra favors here and there.

at any point in my life if i ever encountered a woman that liked me and i wasn't serious about them i made that clear. really though how many woman have that same integrity? or how many of them will know you like them and let you be nice to them and accept all the dinners and dates and whatever else you do to court them with no intention of ever taking it there with you.

However, many of these guys do not know any better primarily because they were taught at a YOUNG AGE that women WANT guys who treat them with respect and decency(not dogging them out) only to grow up and notice guys who DO NOT treat women with ANY respect/decency have women flocking to them in droves. Therefore, some of these guys conclude that women love guys who treat them like trash and begin to act accordingly.
