This game confirmed my biggest concern for this team all season - we have NO wing defenders beside Matisse. I swear our front office always misses the obvious holes we have.

Tobias and Niang slow as molasses, Durant was having a field day. We have no chance of slowing down a Giannis, Durant, or Tatum in the playoffs.

I expect a Maxey or Shake to at least stay in front of a Seth Curry, but he was taking them to school :snoop:

A case of subtraction by addition. Y’all replaced Bum with Harden who plays zero defense and gives no effort and inserted Maxey who struggles on defense as well. Tobias is another horrible defender. The trade was bigger than just getting Harden for Simmons. I’ve been saying this. Y’all let an all star perimeter defender, size and rebounding big, and a shooter go to a team that needed all of the above for a dude that folds and plays on one side of the ball and a flabby nikka that should be bought out. Not to mention those picks are trade bait for another contributor next year for BK. Nobody is going to defend well with those three and Thybulle being the only guy that can defend on the perimeter. Now Danny Green will need an expanded role which takes away an offensive weapon (either Maxey, Harris or Harden). Harden is useless without the ball or when his shot ain’t dropping :yeshrug:

As for Simmons changing his numbers, on one hand I get him.
He's thinking the players are in it together but Embiid is like MJ with Pippen, just cause his situation is perfect he expects everyone else to man up. And Embiid is the captain, so effectively the whole team called him a bytch and he said aight fukk'em all :yeshrug:

The only way Philly beats Brooklyn in a playoff series is if Kyrie is still unable to play home games.

lol I’m no longer even excited about meeting these nikkas in the playoffs with a healthy ben playing and kyrie with a green light to play in all games…also a potential play-in on the road against toronto still presents a huge problem as kyrie can’t play there regardless
