People in here talking stats and don’t watch the game Ben is doing what they need him to do to win he ain’t going overboard he’s getting others involved and is a hound on defense. You guys bringing up Giannis like the team isn’t built around him and plays are called for him to score and dominate. Y’all talk about shooting okay I get it he can’t shoot. Now how the fukk does somebody drop 42 and not be able to shoot. Take that overrated talk elsewhere man.

But Simmons really is one of the best defenders in the league though :hhh:

I’ll admit he’s overrated a little but he’s a good player and he’s an attractive man who dates models and happens to be on a pretty good team:yeshrug: it is what it is

If you think Ben is still comparable to his rookie year yo a casual
Offensively he definitely is. Still has the same knocks too. Desire to be more of a shooter, desire to be more of a slasher (there’s literally games where he’ll start trying to get to the rim in the back half or last quarter, when he coulda did so all game). Like that year, the system and talent around him is starting to be optimized to where you can survive his slow spurts and just allow him to occasionally get his in transition

he even still routinely stands in the fukking dunker spot when Embiid or Harris is working on the block opposite :russ:

Simmons definitely ain’t the only reason for this, but 6ers are still having some really troubling disparities from the 3 point line, and part of that is made from them having one guy that absolutely won’t make any. Couple that with the cold Danny Green performances and the nights where Seth just doesn’t have his legs...i think Ben is the biggest culprit and has the ball in his hands more than either, so that’s the only reason I mention it here
