Not better than Roc Marci last project, Griselda albums have been attracting the hypes for a while now

Roc and Benny are 2 of my top 5 favorite rappers at the moment but I’d never even think to compare their albums. They have very different styles and lanes to me.

I think Roc might have the best pen on earth right now but I get why he doesn’t have the same level of hype. There’s almost zero mainstream appeal on the lyrics as well as production. Roc also almost never does any interviews and never puts himself out there.

Honestly Roc is arguably closer to MF DOOM than Griselda at this point. Not in terms of content but in terms of being a very quiet, off the radar, self contained artist that doesn’t seem to need or even want more attention than what they already have.

Great post and very on point. Roc marc is supremely comfortable with his status in the game and his artistic direction. I think that's why he and KA get along so well. They know what they want to do and they just do it. They don't need to kiss ass for budget reasons and since they produce a lot of their own stuff they end up being in control of the whole project and have the ultimate say in what the final product will be like. I don't think that was possible a decade or two ago and it's dope as hell to be able to see this era.
