I can't imagine complaining about this in New York of all places. Where street corners, barbershops, classrooms, bodegas, etc have always featured guys debating who the best MCs, or favorite albums, or who is hot etc. I can't speak on what the overall impressions are but just based off the Coli thread? A lot of people weren't feeling that new Gunn album. The album did much better than I would have expected (20k first week) so I'm not even sure why he's mad.
