Besides C.R.E.A.M, what other megahits did Wu Tang Clan have as a group?

:usure: Protect ya neck and Method Man was in regular rotation in the South, midwest, or West like your claiming breh breh..

Thank You for finally stopping the silly trolling and agreeing with logical facts.

I know they were in heavy rotation.

Ice Cream was a mega hit too. I heard that all over. New Orleans, Atlanta, NY, LA, France, London.

I'm glad you agree.

Triumph was not bigger than CREAM...maybe in NY or some shyt, but out here in Cali, CREAM was/is their most popular song...after that, it's all solo joints. I don't think I can even recall hearing triumph past it's release

Method Man was a hit homey, shyt stayed on the radio for months. Not shattering hits but Shadow Boxing, Incacerated Scarfaces, Ice Cream, All I got is you, Winter Warz all stayed on Hot 97 for the longest.
Hot 97...doesn't equate hit (nationally) ice cream I'll give you (tho it counted as a Rae joint technically). All that I got and method man were popular, but not ubiquitous chart toppers

and what has wu been? :heh:

they did every major festival this summer, mostly as a headline. The most popular rapper out now is on their dikk. It takes a powerful mental illness to think Bone is up there with Wu as far as popularity right now.

Bone got no fans left. They are the perfect example of a 90s relic.

triumph was a huge hit. yeah, probably bigger than cream was cuz they were an established group and the hype for the new album/single was serious. everybody was waiting for that new wu joint...the video premiere was a thing...

then it started with the news report thing..."ewwww-EWWW-ewwww" in the background...odb was talking that shyt...then the beat drops and inspectah hits you with "I bomb atomically" :blessed: :noah::ohlawd::whew::lawd:

if you think about it, triumph's success is fukking crazy. it's like 6 minutes long, no hook, 8 verses. just a straight up rap posse cut...a lot of weird slang and stream of consciousness stuff... masta killa and cappadona all off-beat and shyt...lol. but it was a massive hit.

So how is Bone as a group still putting out albums? Aint Bone headlining the upcoming Rock the Bells concert in DC? You talk about the most popular rapper being on their dikk (assuming Drake), yet musically speaking who does that popular rapper sound more like when he does his little struggle harmonies? Bone (albeit a more watered down version) or Wu?

Looking at numbers only I could see how you would think BONE was bigger than WU.

But if you were of age during those days it shouldnt even be an argument.
Wu was one of the biggest acts ever in hip hop...and one of the first to have a huge overseas following.
There are still a lot of people walking around w/ Wu Tang tattoos.

They probably shouldnt have waited 4yrs to drop a second group Cd...but they blew up so large that they all were able to release their own album.
