48 bucks for all new games. Some preorders come with 10 dollar rewards certificates as well. Can't beat it.

Ask @winb83

Actually may be less than that too. Yeah, 48 bucks for most new released games, but you can also still get 20% off of games after they've reduced in priced months later as well. Something that the Best Buy rep around my way fukked me up on saying that it didn't work that way and was only for first week releases. I killed that bullshyt though. So, if a game drops to 30 bucks 4-6 months later as they tend to do these days, you can still get said new game for 20% off that price or any other sale price, long as it's not a pre-owned title.

Only sucky thing about Best Buys tho is they inventory is quite suspect at times for non-huge release titles. Anything that's even slightly less of a massive title or a bit obscure, sometimes you may not ever find at the actual store outside of 1st month release. I can't even find New Mario/Luigi Bros. U at most BB's out here anymore.

No need to do this when games get marked down from full price within 2-4 weeks. Only beneficial if you buy games only at launch, which I've basically stopped doing for the most part.

GCU works on those marked down games as well though, provided you buying it new still and from BB of course. Plus if you buy games often, you'll start raking in 5-10+ buck credit rewards in no time. I copped Guilty Gear Xrd day 1 for 9 bucks and change due to GCU + store credit.

When I copped Guilty Gear, there were only 2 copies in the store period. 2!!!!

Order the games online. Once you have the membership online orders apply the discount. Some of the more niche titles I buy I can't even get in the store unless I pre-order online and either do in-store pickup or have it shipped to my home.

Yeah, I'm aware about that too, but their inventory there is still shaky at times too, if you don't buy within the first couple months of release. THey don't even have Wonderful101 new on their online anymore, only pre-owned (to which 20% off doesn't apply to) and I also was having some issues with those aforementioned Mario games that way too.
