Everybody hates on IX, when it might be the GOAT FF game. But it doesn't get as much hate as VIII and X, that game still gets shat on to this very day, and that one is my favorite along with X and VII. Zidane is probably my favorite Main Character though. Cloud was appropriate for VII, and you can't really blame Squall for being Squall when he's 17 with abandonment issues.


Lot of nikkas don't seem to give Seymour his props tho.

This was the first RPG game I ever played, was on the same day I first played FF8 and Brave Fencer Musashi. Those three games are memories.

Easily Final Fantasy II (in the U.S) which is IV.

Effects, music, characters, story and gameplay all were the best it could get pound for pound imo.

That final team of Cecil, Rosa, Edge, Rydia, and Kain >

No swapping in and out, just a story through and through.

Probably the GOAT Final Fantasy starting five

I love 7 - 12 (excluding 11 and including Tactics) and it's really hard to say which is the best. VII is probably the most popular and would get the most votes. I wish they did some kind of HD update of the games prior to 7.

The "Squall is Dead" theory made me look at this game in a whole nother way.

It was already one of my favorites.
