Really wanna go with Nas but Em had one of the best years EVER for a rapper with a huge album in The Eminem Show, a movie with a dope soundtrack, and helping to put 50 back out to the public

So much good music dropped in 02. This is a tough one:patrice:

We can hate on Em, but this song was pure fire.

fukk Eminem

It's really between Nas and Scarface. And Scarface's The Fix is a truly beautiful album. shyt is classic.

Nas had a gigantic year. The Power 105 rant. The guest appearances (In Between Us, The Pledge, The ESSENCE:banderas:) Gods Son and Lost Tapes...

It really comes down to if you wanna give Nas the edge with Lost Tapes. Some people don't as it's a compilation, but XXL and a few other critics rated it at the time as a proper album.

This is a hard one:wow:

Jay was still tryna recuperate (Never fully did :bryan:)

Scarface dropped probably my favorite album from him...a classic to boot.

Nas dropped The Lost Tapes...a classic :blessed:

Ja put out a cornucopia of pop garbage and we saw the beginnings of 50 dismantling him and his whole organization.

I'm almost tempted to say Fif cause even though he didn't drop Get Rich yet, his 50 Cent is the Future mixtape was a major thing in 2002.

But I might have to go with Nelly here, folks. Nellyville was a monster and Hot in Here and the rest of those singles damn near ran the whole year.

Don't forget about God's Son. Nas ended the year with Made You Look all over the radio :ahh:

You people are fukking delusional sheep voting Nas over and over and over to avoid blue balls.

My friend from Saudi Arabia showed me 8 Mile and I knew from then that Eminem was the biggest thing going in this hip-hop game. Eminem made Shook Ones Pt. II as well.

Could be worse....it could be K-Rino :lolbron:
