Dude its called MVP for a reason. KRS wasn't anywhere close to being most valuable in 03. GRODT was far from my favorite album in 03 but Im not a fool enough to think 50 wasn't the biggest rapper in the game. If we were voting strictly off fame and sales MC Hammer woulda won in a landslide in 1990
It says best rapper alive in the title, therefore a picking the best rapper that year.

If it was based off who had the biggest year would pick somebody else of course, probably 50.

Not for Nas stans

For the record I think his shyt was better that year

I've stood by this since GKMC dropped, I think that it is one of the most overrated albums ever. I've listened to it at least a hundred times but I can't figure it out.

Of course it has some songs that I really enjoy, but the majority doesn't scream classic to me. TPAB is infinitely more enjoyable for me.

EXACTLY

This is the MVP which means we consider skills, quality of music, impact, influence etc ALL THAT

Now yall welcome to weight certain factors more than others, but yall gotta keep all factors in mind

I'm voting off the best projects/skills, fame and sales don't mean nothing to me. The album charted anyway to some degree, not that it matters. I'm voting strictly off that, if it was the most successful artist that year would vote completely different, infact we may not even have to vote as can just look at the sales, but would be quite boring then....

:comeon:

you fukking fraud

you don't know shyt

hands down the worst fukking poster on this site

Overrated doesn't deter from its quality though. Think it is better than LIG. And yeh I prefer TPAB over GKMC.

It also says MVP in the title. You keep picking these obscure ass projects and watering down the polls. Lurkers looking like:scusthov:

I think the limit of an acceptable MVP vote on purely album quality is Raekwon in 2009.

KRS in 2003 is crazy talk tho.
