Only one really worth discussing would be Rakim years.
IMO LL should have got one of those years but it's debatable.
But some of the other shyt is so way off,it's not even worth discussing at all.
Drake is running hiphop and has been for a min and he has no year?
Maybe you structured this shyt wrong or nikkas just lying (submitters,not you)

Remember that my vote in these polls represents 1/50 at the very least in any given poll, sometimes 1/100. So the majority decide who wins each year. I didn't structure anything wrong. I made this series to differentiate from the Complex version where I and many others felt they turned it into just a popularity contest especially in the later years.

We wanted to reward the genuinely best rapper that year, and what constitutes best is different to each person. That's why I wanna see your winner for each year so I can see how you approaching it. My list also looks different to the final list because as I said above, I represent a minute portion of voting.

I would give Drake 2011. Rakim had 1987 on lock but I voted Chuck D in 1988.

The shyt i pointed out is not about me disagreeing with who won in general cause everybody dont have to feel like me.
But when drake ends up with no years,during a time frame in which he dominated
Not just with album sales/streams
Not just with single sales/streams
not just with prominent features
but also with touring
it looks fake and paints a false narrative
if i make time i'll pick on the years i had a problem with and explain why i'm picking who i'm picking
