That’s real???:picard:

Yeah. That's the cool thing about shotgun cartridges is you can load them with anything that'll fit. You can literally shoot a roll of nickels or dimes out of a shotgun, bearings, screws, tacks, washers....

I mean...you only gotta point and shoot. Shotguns don't jam and the accuracy is a non-issue. Find the cheapest 10 or 12 gauge you can find and buy that bytch

Great advice, but the pump action can sometimes fail to extract/feed if we short stroke the action :dame:.

Semi’s can also fail to feed/extract but I was always taught that it’s usually the particular ammo casing or use of a magazine that’s behind it.

@Mugen I’d keep it simple and get a nice used/new mossy 500 or remi 870. Try out different types of ammo at the range too. If you’re unfamiliar with firing a shotgun start with the lighter buck, then the heavier buck, then learn to fire slugs. Properly holding the shotgun is 90% of it, the rest is learning the rhythm of firing and operating the slide before the next shot.

As soon as you buy one take it apart and you’ll immediately learn how it operates.

Get an AR-15

I think OP just wants the basic simplicity of a shogun for fun/home defense. I feel that a shotty is a great place to start. He’ll probably work himself up to an AR soon enough.

I think he might even have a better foundation for firearms starting with a shotgun vs a handgun or rifle/carbine.
