I have to give it to Cube. I put AMW in the top 3-5 album ALL TIME and def in the top 3 debut albums all time quite easily. I am a huge fan of No One Can Do It Better but it's just not the same as AMW IMO

I'd say Amerikkka's Most, but both are undeniable great classic albums. The thing about both of these albums is that the b-sides and non singles were the best songs. My cousin let me borrow The Formula single(tape) and I was more interested in "whirlwind pyramid". As for cube, there weren't really many singles from that album because I don't remember it receiving ANY play on the radio in my area. NONE. The first Ice Cube video I ever saw in rotation on rap city, yo, or pump it up constantly was "jackin for beats". I'm not saying it's the first, but 30 + years ago, it's what I remember being his first Cube song with a video that everyone loved. Without googling, I seriously don't remember any videos from Ameriikkka's most wanted.

I know I maybe in the minority which I'm calling it early, but The DOC's album just felt like something special. While Cube's debut was simply amazing, DOC's album had legit lyricism that felt like something from the future.

The shyt was revolutionary for the time.
I’m. The biggest. Don mega fan i know…..

no ons can do it better is a better album to listen to in 2022than amerikkkkas most wanted.

Listened to both recently and honestly I could live without ever bumping that D.O.C. album again, can't say with a straight face their brand of lyricism™ impresses me in 2022 but Cube at least had shyt to say on his record.
