I'd say Amerikkka's Most, but both are undeniable great classic albums. The thing about both of these albums is that the b-sides and non singles were the best songs. My cousin let me borrow The Formula single(tape) and I was more interested in "whirlwind pyramid". As for cube, there weren't really many singles from that album because I don't remember it receiving ANY play on the radio in my area. NONE. The first Ice Cube video I ever saw in rotation on rap city, yo, or pump it up constantly was "jackin for beats". I'm not saying it's the first, but 30 + years ago, it's what I remember being his first Cube song with a video that everyone loved. Without googling, I seriously don't remember any videos from Ameriikkka's most wanted.
Thinking about it the only one I can remember is Who's the Mack, but that can't be right?

I didn't like D.O.C's album like that it was cool for the time tho :francis: wouldn't play it at all now

Paris first joint was way better

DOC was an outstanding rapper, but I feel like he gets that boost that a lot of artists or athletes get when their career ends prematurely. People get sentimental and talk about how great they could have been, but during the his era he never generated the buzz that a lot of other artists did and this is with an album entirely produced by Dre and the name brand of NWA behind him.

Man, i need to revisit Cube's debut again...been a while.

He was on some other shyt in the late 80's & early 90's...

Juts being raw lyrically with that aggressive flow over some hard knocking production.

Cube is in my top 5, I've never really considered him a GREAT lyricist like some other MC's but what separated him over other rappers was that he really didn't hold back with the bars, just said it how he felt it...:wow:

The Doc and the Doctor,Let the bass go,No One can Do it Better Mind Blowin Remix….etc:sas2:

I forgot about a couple of those..

You gotta be an OG to really remember that album

We never got to see what the DOC would've become so it's not fair to compare them .

Was he drunk when he crashed? I always heard he fell asleep at the wheeldue to exhaustion.

I remember a couple dudes in my class being mad cause he didn't show up for a concert in Detroit. Of course nobody knew why at the time.

Out of his own mouth dude was a dirt ball, looking for women out with their dude to disrespect them and then siccing Suge on them, around this time you had The Dre and Dee Barnes incident.

So yeah they were rolling foul as fukk, he believes there was some karma in losing his voice, and he been calling Dre his daddy ever since... God level Mc but a horrible person and idiot! Gave Jerry that album for a watch and necklace.
