Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
If prime iverson had currys team he'd average 40 in this NBA on more efficient shooting And they still would've swept the Cavs in the finals.:banderas:

Remember, almost everything people are saying about curry was being said about iverson like 10-15 years ago.

The Nuggets were better without him :dead:

Curry is far more efficient :camby:

Why can everything related to AI's below-average efficiency get glossed over so easily?

Both sides have a point in this argument; Curry is the more efficient scorer and is a better playmaker, but he does have the luxury of playing with a better team. A.I on the other hand had Mutombo and that was pretty much it. A.I was a better scorer in the sense that he could put up great individual numbers, but he simply was not as efficient as Curry is. I also feel like Curry makes his teammates better and we know he is a proven winner. Add to the fact that he is one of the greatest shooters of all-time and I think it's pretty evident that he's the overall better player, but for people to discredit A.I the way some of you are doing in here just to make an argument is silly though.

AI played alongside Carmelo Anthony in his prime...too bad neither of them liked to pass the ball.

At some point you have to look at the player and stop making excuses. Iverson was tough to play alongside with because of how ball dominant and inefficient he was.

Iverson was not in his prime when he played with Melo.

MJ on a weak ass Bulls team couldn't average 40ppg. But A.I. on a stacked team could?

You Iverson stans get dumber by the second

read my mind. one on one isolation ball is not how you win titles in the NBA.

you do realize that even Jordan never averaged that much and it has only been done one time in the entire history of the league right? the basket didn't get any bigger and AI still would be taking bad shots. He wasn't gonna magically become a good shooter from deep either at any point. his game is less effective in an era with no illegal defense, but then again I'm talking to a guy who thinks penny is better than LeBron

Penny > Lebron all day:blessed:

I should up that thread :jawalrus:

But back to the topic, everyone loves to forget how iverson has more scoring titles than anyone but MJ since they entered the league. And he did it all alone vs good centers and good defenses. Not today's game where any random player can drop 40 any given night.:scust:

Seriously, the defense in today's NBA is laughable. It makes average players look like superstars.

No knock on curry cause we all know he's my favorite current player but he has it easy.

These defenses let him do what he wants and his teammates and coach give him a green light I've never seen since Jordan. Not to mention his team sets him up for most his shots. GSW team play is :ohlawd:

Imagine if iverson had those type of teammates and wasnt goin ISO everyplay or taking on entire team defenses cause nobody on the sixers was a scoring threat. Iverson was a better scorer than curry no question. Just had to try harder and took tougher shots so he's more inefficient but still got wins but not a ring or wins like curry because he didnt have a supporting cast like curry.

And when i say he'd average 40 I'm obviously exaggerating, he'd still average more than curry currently is.:manny:

Realistically more like 35-38 ppg:jawalrus:

Everything about this post is horrible on so many levels. To start with stating that you'd take penny over LeBron and to get worse from there :scust:

Take a look at this thread and then get back to me....

Curry vs Iverson is simple.

Curry benefits from great team play and a weak league mentally and defensively. No way he'd put up these type numbers in the 90s. His stats right now are better than Jordan. So is curry better than mj now?:camby:

Obviously not.

All you saying curry>iverson link me to currys 60 point game highlights?:manny:

Also Remind me of when curry averaged 30 & 8 for an entire season?:jbhmm:

Face it breh, up until recently, currys been putting up stats comparable to DENVER iverson:sas1:

I'll agree with that comparison :sas2:
