Better player: Curry or Iverson?

Let's see curry lead the league in scoring once, and then three more times before saying he's a better scorer.

Curry relies heavily on threes so he yea he scores more on less shots naturally. And he's more efficient cause he's just a better outside shooter. I think most would agree he's the best all time.

On top of this, He has great teammates to set him up for easy shots/open looks and occupy defenses from focusing on him.

Curry sits because the WARRIORS are a good team not because he's that great of a player.

Iverson never had that luxury so he had to work much harder for his points. He took more shots/more contested shots and lay ups. of course he missed more. But he always found ways to score. And he scored in more creative dynamic ways than currys because his size, speed, athleticism and handle.

Iversons a better one on on isolation player. He was the whole offense.
That's why they called him the Answer

Curry is a great team scorer who scores within the offense. He's good working with teammates

Curry Has Klay whenever he's having an off night and draymonds the team leader


Iverson was klay Draymond and curry on his Sixers teams.

Plus iverson could actually dunk

Iversons prime years coensided with the Lakers Shaq Kobe ERA and prime Duncan/Spurs ERA and the nikka took a bunch of bums to the finals and gave the Lakers there first lose of the post season in game 1. Curry needs to average over 30 for a couple more seasons and win another MVP or title just to be mentioned along side Iverson.

coach of the year
6th man of the Year

Iverson never had a supporting cast worse than what Wade was surrounded with from 2008 to before Lebron arrived and his FG% didn't drop anywhere near 40%. Almost every star had years of playing with a subpar teammates and none field goal percentages were close to Iverson's.

And for the record, the sixers were 6-5 without Iverson. They were even able to defeat the 53 win Jazz without AI.

I dunno about that. AI was a scorer, but no one feared his shot like they do Steph's. It wasn't even until he went to the Nuggets that AI "proved" he could play with another scorer.

I think the Warriors would still be a great team with AI, but chip.....

Get the fukk outta here...2 first round exists against the Spurs and the Lakers two teams you could call dynasties of their era.

AI played fine with Carmelo, give him the same amount of offensive weapons as Steph and you'd get similar results. His game would adjust on the strength that he'd be facing single coverage 90% of the time with that many people to pass to. He wouldn't have to work so hard for points.
