Beyonce has become insanely overrated

Beyonce is a Great Performer That's it.. doesn't have that overall package like a

Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey.. hell even not close to mary j blige.

Beyonce Just has the top spot because overall R&B has been dead especially the women in R&B

Range is the extent of the notes a singer can reach. I've listened to both extensively and Beyonce can reach both higher and lower notes.

What I think you're referring to is tone. Adele is able to affect (mostly due to her emulation of older, less dynamic singing styles) a richer timbre than Beyonce.

Of course that makes Adele more suitable for a ballroom throwback track like Skyfall but at the same time there's something of a pastiche to what she does and I'm generally weary of singers whose speaking voices aren't implicated in their singing voices.

I understand what you are trying to say here, but in my opinion, most beyonce songs sound the same to me, love on top is a whitney houston type track and for me personally, it sounds like shes screaming her way through every song. im not a singer, while i can play piano and saxaphone and make a couple of beats, im not a singer but to me i dont agree, adele, keyes, hudson, scott are all better singers to me, but thats me.

Multi-talented, but I really just liked her better when she was with Destiny's Child. I was watching her SB performance and she really didn't do a lot of singing in that.

That was a lot (but not all) of her performance. I liked her first album, but haven't really checked for anything since then. When I hear that she's got a new single out, I'm just like "Meh. Whatever."
