I don't believe in everything the NOI teaches but I will say this...I wish they had as much an influence on black people as a whole like the Christian church does. We would be way better off as a people.
'

Thats the thing they don't want that much influence...There very much elitist to the fullest extent

He's not wrong. People who aren't self-hating and full of low self-esteem can see that.

Above the fray.
KAM been calling BG out to debate him and BG been ducking

Criticizing an organization from the outside is one thing, but putting yourself on the line in a debate about that organization and YOUR religious affiliation is something else.

BG is doing the smart thing and ducking the intellectual ass beating that Kam would probably deliver.

Nothing Kam could say would change my mind because he would never admit to the FOI having Malcolm X killed and if he did admit to it that's the end of the debate.

Didn't the NOI spend much of their time saying anyone who crossed Elijah would meet death?

Didnt Malcolm go on public media to bash Elijah?

Idk who killed Malcolm but Malcoms behavior definitely set the stage to make it easy for someone to do it, whether it be the Nation or Agents.

Smartest thing would have been to just leave the Nation and keep it moving.

So why would anybody join a religious organization that believes in killing people for telling the truth?

If BG is a Sunni Muslim, and he's debating a member of the NOI.....the debate about murders/atrocities sanctioned by leaders is going to be very lopsided. Wouldn't you agree?

I'm gonna say what I've been saying about the role of the NOI in Malcolm's death. Guys caught and convicted were members of the NOI ..including the one apprehended on the scene by the crowd. People can try to blame other organizations for the order, but the NOI had a greenlight on Malcolm in his final months and he said this on camera.

My take is that it was an internal issue among members of the NOI. Out of Malcolm's own mouth....earlier in his life he would have tried to terminate somebody if the order came from Elijah Muhammad . Or Jump in front of a bullet meant for EM. Out of his own mouth, he also mentioned how he turned his back on his OWN BLOOD BROTHER, when he had been banished from the NOI for violating "morality rules". HIS OWN BROTHER............he put NOI ahead of family and stopped talking to his family. That brother later developed mental problems, and out of Malcolm's own mouth he said that the pain of being abandoned by FAMILY members probably made him snap.

I admire Malcolm X and the life he lead after he converted, but he was part of an organization and when that organization turned on him, they (allegedly) dealt with him. Internal issue.

Malcolm never should've joined them...nobody with a righteous heart should.

I don't have personal experience with the NOI, it sounds like you do.
Is your problem with the entire organization, leadership, or the Fruit?

*oh,and Malcolm would have been a career criminal if he hadn't been routed toward the NOI.......he also said this openly..he probably would have followed the track he was going on and gotten caught up.
