Sanders had zero support in the African American community and that would have depressed turnout. Independents weren’t going to vote for a Socialist. Trump would have won.
He lacked support of old black folks that drunk that moderate's Kool-Aid when he was up against Hillary and Biden. If Sanders won the primary they would've voted for him.

Barely a month after the Omicron surge you want to open everything back up? Unless Covid has been eliminated you're just asking for the next outbreak to be even worse.

Imagine if they got rid of all mandates, social distancing and WFH before Omicron hit?

There is legit no reason to end WFH right now besides playing politics. And trying to please Big Business.
So are you good with getting back to normal in April? May? How long do you want to wait?

To me it was always obvious that there would be an ebb and flow to this where we would loosen restrictions when things were good and tighten when the numbers took a turn for the worst.

What set of circumstances are you looking for to get back to normal?

That dude over here making up scenarios of @Another Man jacking off (:dame:) to justify regressive anti-worker policies. :scust:

"Your boss is your God. This is America, you got no rights!" Sounds all CACish and reeks of indentured servitude. Those people are crabs-in-a-barrel type shyt, that think that WFH is going to disappear from people's minds. :smh:

But not enough to win. And Trump would be president right now.
what makes you think that? You would've had more younger people and more of the purple state voters on top of the black folks. If Sanders was a clear winner in the primaries then you would've seen a complete 180 on how CNN and MSNBC covered him

we’ll see. If those people have the money to cover their bills then maybe, but I don’t think that’s the case for the majority of the country.

Bet. This will be a fight that the employers wish they never started... :sas2:

don't remember seeing it for this go around but in 2016 the polls were showing that Sanders was over Trump.
But 2020, what he was warning about was actually occurring and Trump was losing regardless because of his covid response
Trump came incredibly close to winning. If African-American turnout was slightly depressed (because of a lack of enthusiasm for Sanders) or a small percentage of independents went for Trump because they couldn’t pull the trigger for a Socialist, in the few key states this election came down to, Trump wins.

So the federal government could be fully run by black women and it’s still just identity politics?
Yes

Thats the nature of the system

But also by the nature of the system, it would never be fully run by Black women so I dont see what's the point of saying that

I don’t see him doing Biden numbers.

That’s a fair point regarding young people. I disagree on purple state voters.

Ite crazy you think that's crazy

No judges who aren't approved are going to get up there
Sounds like you want to completely overhaul government from the top down. Sometimes I think you’re right. But it’s as unrealistic as a government run entirely by black women.

If you think the system corrupts all who participate in it, then there are no tangibles right?

I don't believe working 5 days a week in the office as normal. I work in IT and for years companies have allowed work from home in special cases. The only reason for not doing it is trying to micro-manage employees. Employers and Boomers like Biden are just trying to put the genie back in the bottle. But it's gonna backfire once gas prices skyrocket this Summer.

I quit my last two jobs because they tried forcing return to the office last year. My current company is talking about a hybrid approach next month. But I haven't decided if I'll stick around permanently but most likely will bounce after the yearly bonus gets paid out.

Folks in really hard to fill jobs like mine cybersecurity. Aren't going to easily agree to go back into the office. As long as there is a shortage of workers in our field.
