I main reason for not going in 2 days a week is the train fare is crazy now. Makes zero sense to go in when I don't have to. I go in the office more out of boredom.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
You and your wife sound like the type of people that be all up in other people business at work. Now that y'all asses have to work from home rather than in some confined ass space in close contact with others; y'all have to mind y'all own fugging business and y'all hate it. This is the opportunity for you an your wife to strengthen y'all bonds at home with each other and now you know how her boring ass fugging day went because you were sitting there.

You nosy annoying muddafuggas. :martin:
Could have been traveling the world, enjoying each other, walking around butt naked, drinking mimosas

Instead he can’t wait to get back to work

democrats don’t need Blacks anymore. Claude Anderson tried to tell us that but we ignored him. Once latinos overtook us as the largest minority voting demographic that would end our utility to the Democratic Party, and that happened last election. Keep hoping Black people are the ones deciding these elections and you’ll just be setting yourself up for more heartbreak.

nothing you see happening out in the real world shows that democrats are reliant upon Black people for our votes.
Kamala and the Supreme Court justice say we ain’t COMPLETELY abandoned. That could have been two latinas

I’m none of that. I work from home too. But I know all the tough talk is just that - talk. If it comes down to going back in the office or being homeless what choice do you think people are going to make?

were you one of the ones cheering when the govt mandated vaccines or face losing your job?

Vaccines never changed my life for the worse.

WFH improved mine greatly. Plus numerous companies already planned for a permanent WFH or hybrid schedule, regardless of what Biden said. No president can make an executive order to mandate office work. Many people will flock to those in a heartbeat.

Do you feel the same about your door dash delivery person, or Amazon driver? You have the previlege to stay home and log into work in your draws, watch Netflix, take 1000 trips to the fridge, and jack off all while getting paid. Frame the shyt in how it benefits you personally instead of make it seem like some larger movement especially when you don't give a fukk about the workers that have to support your work from home lifestyle and serve you. fukk outta here :camby:

You made all of this shyt up. It doesn't have to benefit me personally to be good policy. Are you a sociopath? :mjlol:

And I have been very critical of gig work, especially now as some of these apps are lowering how much they payout in commissions and bonuses as gas prices reach record highs.

I said what the fukk I said. Anybody pushing for an end to WFH is anti-worker. If you have a problem with that, you're probably a corporate bootlicker. :yeshrug:

Let me give you you

But your actions dealing with the pandemic DOES affect the next person. It takes cooperation on a societal scale to defeat this pandemic once and for all, and everyone is failing to do that, because of that mentality you display.

going back to the office has been deemed good for society as a whole. It stimulates business across many sectors, and in this country business and the bottom line speaks loudest, not your personal comfort or well being. So while wfh may have benefited you personally, going back to the office is seen as that “cooperation on a societal scale” you spoke so eloquently on before. You believed the government about sacrificing for the “greater good” before, well I know you didn’t think it was gonna stop there lol

Technically she’s correct. Everything that you purchase and use for work should be paid for by your job. Anything you pay out of your own pocket should be written off as job expenses on your taxes as well if they aren’t providing it. But I shouldn’t be putting company email on my personal phone and I shouldn’t be required to have a home internet because the office is closed.
She out of her damn mind and needs to either drive to the office to work or to be let go for not being able to perform the job she was hired to do. No one will actually say it out loud, but if she was to ever bring that argument about the company paying for internet up to corporate those will be her two options. Who the hell takes a wfh position and the refuses to get internet for their home?

I don’t understand how putting people in positions where they will determine the law isn’t a tangible impact?

To make it more stark, if Biden had the ability to replace all 9 justices with black women, would that be identity politics or a tangible impact?

But you still use door dash, Uber and Amazon right?
