i wish Lebron spent a few seasons playing out West. imagine him playing against those up-tempo squads who dont play a lick of defense like the Clippers, Warriors, Suns or Rockets in a 7-game series. the video game numbers he'd put up:whew:

memphis is the one team in the west that's built and plays like an eastern conference team. it's no surprise they're about to give OKC, one of the best western teams, complete hell:sas2:

Garbage ass Eastern Conf teams getting into the playoffs helps skew those defensive numbers  Your telling me this years bulls who couldnt put up 100 agaisnt washington would beat the clips who put up 130 against GS, because the bulls are ranked higher? Do you watch games or skim through it?

the heat had some very easy routes to the finals and especially compared to the lakers. Just because a team has a good ranking defense doesn't necessarily even make them a good team. Look at the old suns teams, they had 0 defense but they were better than 95% of the teams you mentioned. Add the win loss totals of the teams the heat faced and there you have a better picture.

if u compared the teams the cheat faced from 11-13 to what the lakers faced from 8-10 you could argue either way honestly.

It doesn't matter if the road to the championship was easy or not. We didnt underachieved and got two rings out of three consecutive dappearances. The Heat got banners hanging in the their building and placed their mark in NBA history. That's what matter most. :sas2: So, is there any Heat haters can say the same thing for their team ?:sas1:

Ehhh...

2008: Nuggets/Jazz/Spurs/Celtics (all 50+ win teams with Boston winning 66)
2009: Jazz/Rockets/Nuggets/Magic (Utah had 48 wins)
2010: Thunder/Jazz/Suns/Celtics (all 50+ win teams)

I don't know breh. Doesn't seem too equal to me. The Heat's hardest run was 2011 and the 2013 run featured no teams over 50 wins save for the Spurs.

What i mean is compare the teams each faced at the same point in the playoffs

for example

the lakers faced the nuggets in the 09 conference finals, are they better than the 12 celtics the cheat faced in the 2012 conference finals.

NONE OF THOSE TEAMS HAD GOOD OFFENSES THOUGH...
(OUTSIDE OF THE TEAMS THEY FACED IN THE FINALS)

HEAT WERE A TOP DEFENSE THEMSELVES...
PLUS A TOP OFFENSE
GOING UP AGAINST OFFENSIVELY CHALLENGED SQUADS.

ECF:
BULLS WERE RANKED 11TH
BECAUSE THEY HAD THE MVP
BUT ALL MIA HAD TO DO WAS FOCUS ON HIM.

CELTICS WERE RANKED 27TH IN OFFENSE

PACERS WERE RANKED 20TH

YOU HAVE NO CHANCE AT BEATING MIA
IF YOU CANT SCORE WITH THEM.

Exactly. This is why MIA had it easy in those first round series which were effectively byes.

When they played the Mavs and Spurs, teams that move the ball and can score with MIA... they lost in 6 and they survived in 7 by slim margins

You have to have a top offense to beat the Heat and no one in the East can stake claim to that to beat them which is why they are a lock to go to the Finals again. They'll play a good offensive team from the West but which style will it be? If it's OKC, MIA will thrive because as we've seen, the Thunder go into ISO ball in late game situations and good defensive teams like MEM can easily defend that and a locked in MIA team while not good in the interior can key in on Russ or KD

If it's the Spurs, the shid is just a nightmare because Duncan is still a solid post player and they have too many damn shooters and the MIA bench has been an issue this year.
