And I ain’t rockin no more designer shyt
White T’s and Nike Cortez, this is red corvettes anonymous
I’m usually homeboys with the same nikkas I’m rhymin wit
But this is hip hop and them nikkas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you nikkas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you nikkas
They don’t wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you nikkas
What is competition? I’m tryna raise the bar high
Who tryna jump and get it? You better off tryna skydive

Those bars right there :wow: I literally caught chills my nikkas. I was a fan, but now I'm a believer :blessed:

I wonder how rappers who are on the whole "I'm not lyrical, I just make fun music for people to dance to" steez feel when things like this happen?

Like, they know they'd be laughed off the face of the Earth by their own fans if they even try to jump into the conversation.

Like...how do they just survive not being able to competitively compete in the genre like that? How do they feel?

:ohhh:

:blessed:

Thats the beauty of it. Kendrick just drew a line in the sand and these rappers gotta decide where they're going to stand.

All that "just good music" that people have been hyping for the last 7 years aint enough you gotta be able to defend yourself...

Great question. Hence the reason I said hip hop needed this. Everyone should be in it to be the best, Kendrick just made a lot of nikkas feel terrible for not even attempting to be great.

:salute:

Best thing to do is call K.Dot up and try to get him on a song with you and tear him a new one. Otherwise, tons of ppl will respond and I seriously doubt he'll answer back.

Those guys really don't care though.

Club/party music will always have a place in hiphop. People still want to get ignorant on Friday/Saturday night and they aren't listening to battle raps doing it.

But this is good for hiphop regardless.

hell yeah I love the verse..... I love what it did and the reaction it's getting.

but it seems like I was the only nikka on the face of the earth that got hype when Soul claimed they was plotting on Jay, Kanye, Marshall and Andre, Lil Wayne, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Wale, that bytch Nicki, J. Cole, Rozay...."

Guess it all came back around. lol

Edit: Or maybe it's just the fact that they know Kendrick will murder their asses. lol
