I think all this twitter excitement is premature. Kendrick didn't actually take shots at anybody. I interpreted his verse as similar to what Hov once said:

'The holy trinity of Hip Hop is us - we give Dre his props but that's where it stops'

Rappers catching feelings over this would be like LL Cool J vs Canibus again.

It's nothing like Jay's line. MOF What he did is more like what 50 cent tried to do, only difference is K. Dot doing his with lyricism, no bullying or blackballing like 50.

Plus this is not beef, it's competition. Both are totally different but increases the talent level the same. None of these rappers that tweeted are angry at Kendrick, they just know they gotta answer his calling with heat or look like food.
