I don't even know anymore...
I got thru 7 pages of this thread, and almost the whole album, and I must've gotten a different album than some of y'all, cause shyt is...exactly that: shyt. To be fair, I've never been the biggest Sean fan. I just don't get it. He's just not all that good at rapping. I've seen Cole and Wale brought up plenty, but to be honest, that's disrespectful to both of them to be included in the conversation.
Born Sinner and Gifted are both waaaaaaaayyy better than this shyt. I know that Nigerian dude is most likely part of his street team, so he HAS to act like he does, but I don't understand the rest of y'all in here praising this. I actually seen the words "Big Sean" and "Soulful" in the same sentence.
Just when I thought I'd seen/heard it all, something like that gets posted, and raises the bar of stupidity that much higher. I feel like this is one big inside joke that I'm not part of. I really don't get it.

This album is not very good
Just finished listening.
I can see why people find Cole boring at times, I do as well. But Sean is worse for me. He's so plain to me here, and bores me on almost every song. Same as his debut album.
Again, now I'm just looking at seeing which songs I'll keep, Max 2 or 3.

at nikkas talking about they don't get it. Sean Don got one with this. Y'all the same nikkas bigging up Born Sinner like Cole ain't making the same music like he's always done. The critics are praising the album because Sean actually stepped out of his comfort zone and created a complete well rounded album. Again y'all nikkas are skimming through the album. This is his College Dropout

I like the album and I don't like big sean all that much and didn't like his 1st joint or mixtapes.
But this album is better than average.
I wouldn't compare it to wale's or coles joints though.. Its like comparing apples and oranges.

Sean spat some heartfelt stuff on this album, that I related to or felt more than some of wale and Cole's stuff, and Vice verse.
