so we judge song quality off voices now? :heh: lol y'all hilarious

What kind of voice you want on a song, who has a good voice to you lol

Hm, well let's see b.

A big part of the appeal of hip-hop is the vocal medium of the art, so if someone has a shytty voice, one half of the medium (sonic and vocal) is whack to me.The quality of his voice is perfectly fine since it was recorded in a professional sound studio.

He sounds like a little boy so when he tries to do the "bytch i'm swaggin' on you" type tracks I just can't believe him. The heartfelt songs I tend to feel him more n/h because there's a boyish, immature quality to his voice so it's more believeable.

People whose voices alone command my attention: Vado, Kanye West, Joe Budden, Rick Ross, Pusha T post-Exclusive Audio Footage Era, Malice pre his recent shytty album era, The Alchemist, Scarface, Jay-Z, Nas, Tupac, Prodigy etc.

I could go on and on but those are just a few examples I can think of off the top of my head that have commanding voices imo

He just sounds so goddamn nasally and corny to me and it's hard to take someone seriously who sounds like that most of the time when he tries to be serious.

Just can't vibe with him whatsoever most of the time because he doesn't seem genuine to me. It's like the difference between a shytty actor imitating emotion and a great actor truly channeling their emotion.

Only track I felt him doing that was on Nothing Is Stopping You everything else I skipped or listened to once and never plan on ever hearing again unless it was against my will as a torture tactic

when i first heard kendrick i didnt like his voice either, then i listened to more of his tracks and actually what he was sayin and started messin with his music more

on ten on ten he coulda did without the adrenalineeeeeeeeeee, part but the song still goes. i got a RWT vibe from that.

i really prefer his tracks like this thats a winning formula for sean on a song to me. upbeat and still pretty smooth

to each his own i guess :manny: you know his voice aint changing so aint no reason to check for his music in the future

album is straight :trash:

quickest to go to the recycle bin in 2013. if you go into this thinking the album is going to sound like first chain, you are in for a VERY disappointing shock. absolute fukking :trash:
