you really think that from 1st to 105ths population is 120,000? Out of a population of 400,000?

minus another 20,000 for west Oakland

so 240,000 people live in downtown/north/hills? those areas are a couple blocks

East Oakland is tha biggest stretch of land mass in Oakland, it also has tha highest population

even if you counted 65 that's still less

Oakland has a homicide rate of 38 per 100,000 residents

if you double that rate to adjust for it's worst year 1992, it's still only 76 homicides, you can even round it up to 80

And that's tha rate per 100,000 people

Compton had a population of 90,000 in 1991 and had 87

adding west Oakland = 80+42 = 122 murders for a population of 145,000, sorry 87 for 90,000 (Compton) is still a higher per capita
