Impact? Dre

Better songs? Big

Dre's albums don't even have a 50% batting average for classic songs brehs. Check the two track lists:

1. The Chronic (Intro)
2. Wit Dre Day (And Everybody's Celebratin')
3. Let Me Ride
4. The Day the nikkaz Took Over
5. Nuthin' But a "G" Thang
6. Deeez Nuuuts
7. Lil' Ghetto Boy

8. A nikka Witta Gun
9. Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat
10. The $20 Sack Pyramid
11. Lyrical Gangbang
12. High Powered
13. The Doctor's Office
14. Stranded on Death Row
15. The Roach [The Chronic Outro]
16. bytches Ain't shyt
these are all strong to classic, plus high powered, stranded, and bytches aint shyt are in the mention too

i agree on 2001 tho :ehh:

@zerozero . . to be fair, we have high expectations of Dre, his legacy is a product of perception (P.O.P. - pop) and when we peel back the facade what artists are hitting 50%? His legacy is supported by a few megalithic hits. Many of his records would be a standout in any artist's catalog

You just said 2001 didn't have an impact . . which means you were either under a rock or still in diapers, that album had an impact on every level of society. It was practically the main hot button issue during the 2000 election

Mr. "I'm not getting credit for the worst poster of the year award which I made specifically so I could avoid my own inclusion in said list" :stopitslime:

You better stay in your place and remember who you're talking to :mjpls:

you obviously didnt comprehend my posts, and have no real understanding of this hip-hop chit.

i already know youre a simpleton anyway.

:wtf: someone really said bytches aint shyt wasn't classic?

is it tho?

i mean i know the beat is classic, but i dont know about calling it a classic song.

it was always an add-on track to me. it came off as vulgar drivel, even as a youngn. i liked it tho, but classic is pushin it.

I understand you clearly stating 2001 didn't have an impact as if it wasn't the the most defining album of the turn of the century

This is not a valid discussion. If I was more literate and actually cared, I might actually negative rep you.

RTD sounds dated and LAD is a boring piece of shyt full of filler (even most Biggie fans would agree)
No one and nothing was influenced by these two albums...

Meanwhile The Chronic is the second most influential rap album of all time (after Straight Outta Compton) and 2001 is STILL the best sounding hip hop album, 15 years after its release

Let's not even talk about the overall quality...

No contest
