Why would you use Brady to argue against Belichick's ability to put a team together when he's the one who drafted Brady and put a team around him that competed for SBs for 19 straight years?
Because him hitting Brady ended up masking his misses over the next 19 years.
The way you say it, you're implying that he consistently puts together great teams every year, when it's really that he drafted Brady, and then had 1 good draft every every now and then (like in 2010 and 2012) that has made up for him not having a good draft in a while. Was 2016 his last good draft?
Ignore Beli's record without Tom brehs
Ignore a 16-0 nearly unstoppable machine of a team going 10-5 while missing the playoffs without its QB brehs.....and spend the next 12 years pretending it was a great season
I
This is one is the funniest because that wasn't a good accomplishment AT ALL.
Like, a LOT of coaches have actually done more impressive work than that

Mike Zimmer took Case Keenum to a 13-3 record and the NFC Title game.

Jim Harbaugh went to 49ers team that was ass for years and turned Alex Smith from a bust to a pro-bowl QB and brought them to the NFC title game

Mike Tomlin won 9 games with the WORST QBs in the league and with his skill position players being injured.

Denver won 9 games with Tim Tebow

Bill Cowher took Neil O'Donnel to the Super Bowl in 95 and Tommy Maddox to the AFC title game in 2001

Jeff Fisher went 13-3 with Kerry Collins and CJ2K with the 2008 Tennessee Titans

Jim Fassel and Sean Payton went 13-3 with Kerry Collins and took him to a super bowl in 2000

Sean Payton went 6-0 with Teddy Bridgewater last year.

Todd Haley who is a BUM went 10-6 with Matt Cassel the year after with a worse team and tougher schedule!!!!

Like bro... A LOT OF GOOD COACHES would have went 11-5 with Matt Cassell. John Harbaugh got 10+ wins outta Joe Flacco every fukking year, what makes you think that he couldn't get 11 wins out of a team that went 16-0 with Matt Cassel?
